US president Joe Biden was seen bringing a 25-year-old hero who defended a kibbutz against advancing Hamas terrorists who attacked isolated communities across Israel into a warm embrace on Wednesday.
Security co-ordinator Inbar Lieberman led a group of residents to kill more than two dozen advancing terrorists while defending the kibbutz, which sits just a mile from the Gaza Strip.
Lieberman, who had been part of the community's security detail since December 2022, heard explosions erupting early Saturday when Hamas launched the unprecedented and deadly attack on Israel.
She killed five terrorists herself, while the others claimed the lives of 20 more over a four hour period.
Biden, 80, brought her into a hug at a Tel Aviv meeting with other first responders and survivors of Hamas attacks on Wednesday.

He was also seen shaking hands and hugging other Israelis deeply affected by Hamas' attacks on October 7.
The US president was seen in an animated conversation with Eli Beer, the founder of United Hatzalah, a free, volunteer-based emergency medical services organisation that works in Israel.
The embrace took place at a meeting as part of a round of diplomacy meant to reassure all sides of the deadliest conflict in the region for decades.
Biden was also seen hugging Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the start of the trip, despite the frosty relationship between them.
Netanyahu told Biden at the meeting: 'Mr. President, the world sees that support and the moral clarity that you have demonstrated from the moment Israel was attacked.
'You rightly drawn a clear line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism and describe what Hamas did as sheer evil. It is exactly that.'
In his response, Biden was clear to give his support to Israel while pointing out that not all Palestinians supported the terrorist group.
'I wanted to be here today for a simple reason: I want the people of Israel, people in the world to know where the United States stands,' he said.

He said it was hard to imagine the terror of families caught up in the wave of murder that killed so many people.
'You said imagine with the children hiding from Hamas were thinking. it's beyond my comprehension to Imagine what they were thinking... beyond my comprehension,' he said.
'They committed evil and atrocities that make ISIS look somewhat more rational.'
Several people previously spoke of Lieberman's bravery in the face of the Hamas attacks on the kibbutz she was defending.
Under her leadership, Nir Am was turned into an impenetrable fortress, while nearby kibbutzim's suffered heavier losses.
'It was amazing, my husband was part of the standby unit that worked to prevent more casualties,' Ilit Paz told Israel Hayom.
'They heard the shots and made contact on their own with other members of the standby unit and with Inbal — and they understood that they were told to be on standby.
'But Inbal made a decision not to wait and be jumped operationally. In fact, the fact that they did it early prevented dozens of casualties.'

Biden's visit was designed in part to reduce tensions, but protests around the region only grew while the U.S. president was aboard Air Force One on his way to Israel
The Maariv Daily reported that a social media post also lauded the heroism of Lieberman saying she deserves the Israel Prize.
'When it's all over, this woman will receive the Israel Prize,' it read.
'The story of her heroism is a story that will go down in Israeli lore for generations.
'Inbal is the reason there is one kibbutz in the entire surrounding area that remains unharmed — Nir Am.'
Nir Am is among the few communities that Hamas terrorists attempted to enter but were repelled.
In Ein Habsor, a moshav that is also near the Gaza Strip, a handful of local defenders staved off a larger number of armed terrorists, one resident of the moshav, Noam Gotliv, told the Times of Israel.
'What happened to us was part alertness, part miracle,' Gotliv said, regarding the events at Ein Habsor.

Other communities weren't as lucky.
The horrors of the Be'eri massacre were laid bare last week, when sickening photos of the aftermath of the Be'eri kibbutz massacre revealed that Israeli civilians were killed in their bedrooms in the first days of Hamas' surprise attack.
Almost all of the photos, passed on to MailOnline by the Israeli Embassy in London, were too graphic to share publicly, and depict several dead bodies strewn across a small room in the community of around 1,000 people near the border with Gaza.
The photos are some of the clearest representations of exactly what happened in the kibbutz, a symbolically significant community set up in 1946 as part of a strategic plan to help the state withstand a potential invasion from Egypt.
Dozens of bullet holes can be seen peppered across the facade of a two-storey home in the isolated community, which was one of the first to be attacked by Hamas at around 7am, with mounds of rubble strewn in front.

Inside the bedroom of one home, three dead bodies were left to rot by Hamas fighters, who killed at least 100 people in the community on Saturday.
A woman is lying facedown in her own blood in a single bed in the cramped room, blood staining her blonde hair and the wall behind her, which has at least six bullet holes.
One survivor, Haim Jelin, told local media that Hamas fighters 'walked around Be'eri like they owned the place.'
'They shot indiscriminately, abducted whoever they could, burned down people's homes so they'd have to escape through the window, where the terrorists would wait,' he added.
A woman called Miri Gad Mesika told local media that she and her husband were choking on thick smoke and gas fumes as they tried to hide.
'We soaked towels with water and covered our faces, while my husband Eli held the shelter door closed as hard as he could as the terrorists tried to break in,' she said.
'Moments before we jumped from the second floor, we assessed the situation of the fire and looked out for the terrorists and decided to jump.
'We fled to our neighbours across the street, and watched our house go up in flames before it was completely burned down. I have no idea how we survived.'
