A Pennsylvania man hoped to sell his 2007 Chevy Silverado truck to someone from New Jersey, but the potential sale took an unexpected turn, thanks to a deer.
Jay Vaughan posted a video of a deer on November 1, leaping over a car, and into the truck bed parked on his driveway in front of the possible buyer.
The deer was unharmed, but it did leave a small dent on the white Chevy Silverado.
Vaughan posted the video on Facebook Marketplace and hoped to sell it to the possible buyer for $1,000.
He did not say if the New Jersey man purchased the truck, but the buyer allegedly wanted the vehicle '1000% as long as the body is as nice as it looks in the pictures.'
A New Jersey man looking to purchase the 2007 Chevy Silverado truck and the vehicle owner witnessed a dear leaping over one car and into the truck bed
The deer leapt at a fast speed on camera, and made a date in what Vaughan said was a, 'mint' conditioned truck
The man interested in the truck was '1000% as long as the body is as nice as it looks in the pictures.'
The deer jumped off the truck shortly after denting and landing on the truck bed, and ran to a next door neighbor's yard
The video has gotten over one million views since it was posted last Saturday, and has received at least 20,000 comments from other Facebook users.
'Wow. That's the best worst timing I've ever seen,' commented one user.
A female Facebook user made a joke about deer during the holiday season.
'Deers stressed he’s late for his shift at the North Pole - Santa is patiently waiting,' she said.
Other users believed the video was 'TikTok worthy' and could be featured on 'America's Funniest Home Videos,' but one female user jokingly accused the user of have it all be a set up.
'Wow! That’s so crazy! Glad you got it on video. Poor deer… he totally cleared the car,' she said.
'You set him up… he would have totally cleared both if you had parked the truck closer to the car. Amazing video, tho… that might be worth the $1000 loss.'
