Bodycam footage captured the daring rescue of a man who toppled onto the subway tracks and was pulled to safety by two NYPD cops moments before the train roared past.
Officers Jonathan Valle and David Canarte from NYPD's 45th Precinct were assigned to a Mobile Force Field Post inside the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station in Queens on Saturday.
Around 1.48am, they leapt into action, hurrying down the subway platform after seeing a man tumble onto the tracks of the southbound 7 train.
Bodycam video showed a man wearing a hoodie and camouflage jacket resting on his hands and knees.
He appeared dazed as the officers shone a flashlight on him. An NYPD spokesperson described him as 'unresponsive.'

With the help of a Good Samaritans, the officers were able to hoist the man to safety moments before the train went roaring by
As he slowly got up, Officer Valle hopped down onto the tracks. Grunting, he hoisted the man onto the platform with the help of another commuter, who jumped down to join him.
Officer Canarte was then able to pull the man onto the platform from above as Valle and the Good Samaritan climbed back onto the platform.
The man lay on his back on the cement, shirt riding up to expose his abdomen, as the 7 train rushed past.
The officers fist-bumped each other triumphantly.
Other officers arrived, forming a small crowd. One cop raised a walkie-talkie to his mouth.
'What's your name?' an officer asked in Spanish.
The cops led the man to a nearby bench and instructed the man to sit down, attaching straps before loading him into the back of an ambulance.
He was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Elmhurst in stable condition, NYPD said.

The man was identified as a 23-year-old Bronx resident, according to a spokesperson from the department.
The 45th Precinct posted to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Saturday night, lauding the officers' quick thinking.
A photo of the officers grinning at the subway entrance was captioned: 'Without hesitation, they raced to him, and with help from good Samaritans, pulled him to safety before the train arrived.'
