An 86-year-old Florida man has died after his son allegedly ran him over several times with a pickup truck before fleeing the scene.
Mark McKeown, 61, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
At around 8.30pm Saturday, McKeown's father, Thomas, walked towards the 2019 Dodge Ram as it sat in a parking spot outside R Bar in Treasure Island.
He appeared to fall down in front of the truck, according to investigators.
The truck then began to move forward and ran over the 86-year-old, dragging him across the pavement.

It reversed and moved forward several times, hitting the elderly man repeatedly before fleeing the scene.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police later discovered that McKeown had been driving the truck at the time of the fatal crash.
The Highland, Michigan native was arrested Saturday night. He was released Sunday after posting a $50,000 surety bond.
'Impairment appears to be a factor in the crash,' the Pinella County's Sheriff Office wrote in a press release.
No information about a motive has been released. The Major Accident Investigation Team is looking into the incident.
If convicted, McKeown faces a maximum sentence of 30 years imprisonment. A judge is required to impose a mandatory minimum sentence of four years.
He also faces thirty years of probation and a fine of up to $10,000.
