An enormous turbine blade has been pictured making its way through the Scottish Borders en route to a wind farm.
The propeller, which measures a huge 212ft (64.8m) in length, was seen being slowly transported along a road near Hawick.
It is the fourth of some 21 blades being moved to the new Pines Burn Wind Farm, with a further 21 tower sections - measuring between 21m and 37.4m - also due to be delivered.
Pictures show the blade being driven past fields dusted with snow, and transport chiefs say bad weather has been hampering its planned movements.
The convoy was unable to make it to the site as a result of the conditions and will remain on the A6088 layby over the weekend, the Border Telegraph reports.

Its next movement will be on Tuesday, with an announcement on specific timings to be made in due course.
