The NFL is reviewing the sideline incident between Eagles' head of security 'Big Dom' DiSandro and 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw, according to a report.

Both DiSandro and Greenlaw were ejected on Sunday in the third quarter of the 49ers' win over the Eagles, as the Philly staffer tried to break up a scuffle and Greenlaw made contact with his face.

And now, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the league is looking into the incident.

Schefter said there is expected to be a 'follow-up' with the Eagles this week.

Greenlaw instigated chaos after body slamming DeVonta Smith out of bounds near Philly's sideline, which resulted in a penalty.

Then, DiSandro, who's worked for the Eagles for the last 25 years, pushed away Greenlaw while the 49ers star and Smith exchanged words. Greenlaw then poked a few fingers into DiSandro's face.

'Big Dom' could now be banned from the sidelines, as the NFL is reportedly considering 'significant punishment' for his involvement in the altercation.

That's according to what a 'high-level executive' told NBC's Pro Football Talk after the game.

What's more, is that the NFL is looking 'to make an example' of the Eagles' security chief, the outlet further reported.

The NFL has already punished a non-player -- Miami-based photographer Kevin Fitzgibbons -- after his involvement in Tyreek Hill's backflip celebration during the Dolphins' win against the Panthers in Week 6.

The NFL has also stepped up its rules on fights between players and coaching staffs during games, prior to the start of the season.
