Texas high school basketball player and brother beat up coach in school parking lot after player was benched for behavior-- brothers now arrested

A high school basketball player and his brother have been arrested and are facing assault charges for beating up the coach who benched the student during a game. 

Jervin Allen, 17, a student at Willis High School outside of Houston, was benched during an away game due to bad behavior towards a member of an opposing team.

While no details were available about what Allen did, an unidentified coach decided to pull him off the court. 

When the team returned to their own school after the Dec. 5 game, Allen and his family were waiting for the coach in the parking lot, the local Fox station reported.

Jervin and his family approached the coach in the parking, yelling at him at first and then becoming physical.

Jevin punched his coach in the face. 

Then his Jervin's brother, Jarrick, 22, also started beating the educator.

Another coach saw the beat down take place and stepped in to help. 

The coach ended up with injures to his head, neck, face, and arms.

'We are deeply saddened by this incident and will not tolerate this behavior from students,' the Willis Independent School District told local station KTRK

The brothers fled the campus after police were called. 

Cops eventually tracked them down and arrested them under assault on a public servant charges. 

The brothers have since bonded out of the Montgomery County Jail.
