As the NFL heads into the final two weeks of the regular season, for some players there's more than the playoffs at stake.

Several stars around the league have just two or fewer games left to hit the requirements needed to unlock some big bonuses from their teams.

It was reported that Joe Flacco will pocket an extra $250,000 with a Wild Card round win for the Browns, with his incentives doubling for every further round, and after Cleveland clinched its playoff spot on Monday Night Football the quarterback inched closer to that extra payday.

The 38-year-old will also bank an extra $75,000 for every regular season game he wins the rest of the year and with just one game of their season left - against the Bengals on January 7 - there's still one more bonus left for Flacco.

But he's not the only one with cash on the line heading into the final two weeks of the NFL season, according to ESPN.

Baltimore Ravens edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney is just half a sack away from an extra $750,000.

With 8.5 sacks this season, Clowney has already made $1million but if he can seal that extra half and take his tally up to nine that will rise to $1.75million.

Meanwhile, Buccaneers' linebacker Lavonte David looks set to take home $2.5million after improving defensively from last season, with three more interceptions than last year.

David has currently played 83.8 percent of snaps and if he maintains playing more than 65 percent by the end of the season and the Bucs rank in the top 10 in points allowed he'll add another $200,000 to his bank account. Tampa is currently No. 11 with 302.

Like Clowney, he also only need another half a sack to make some extra money as he needs five for $150,000 and is currently at 4.5.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon needs one more touchdown to reach ten for the season and a $250,000 bonus. If he can take his tally even further to 12, that figure will jump to $350,000.

If DeAndre Hopkins reaches 950 yards, his bonus will escalate to $750,000, and if he gets to at least 1,050 yards, it will become $1million.

The Titans wide receiver has already hit the $500,000 bonus mark with 61 catches for 939 yards and six touchdowns, leaving him needing just 111 yards to hit the $1million jackpot.

Some players have already hit their requirements and are laughing all the way to the bank.

Dolphins' Raheem Mostert has already surpassed his 900 scrimmage yards mark yo make $1 million, while with 15.5 sacks, Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter has made $3million for surpassing his goal of 14.
