This is the moment a carefree individual risked his life by jumping blindfolded from the roof of a moving car into a river in Spain.
Video footage posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows a man standing on the roof of a car as it crosses a motorway bridge, before he alarmingly chose to leap into the river below.
Spanish police are now on the hunt for the youngster, after he jumped from the bridge, which is situated on the A8 motorway over the Treto Estuary near the northern Spanish city of Santander.
The footage shows the man rising from a crouching position as the vehicle he was on crossed a motorway bridge, before he proceeds to stand up and propel himself over the railings that separate the dual-carriageway from the river below.
He appeared to have covered his face and eyes with a white scarf, either to try to stop police from identifying him or to protect himself from the cold, but also to heighten the difficulty of his stunt.

Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident.
The footage showed the youngster reached the water without hitting the metal barriers on the way.
It was not immediately clear if the stuntman was able to safely make it to dry land after his remarkable dive into the water.
The car he was on was heading in the direction of Bilbao, around an hour's drive east of the bridge where he was filmed performing the stunt.
His actions split opinion on X, with one user moaning in reply: 'Then we're surprised when they say humanity is facing extinction. With people like these we're going to disappear sooner.'
However, a second lauded the bravery of the stunt, calling the man a 'national hero' for his actions.
Another Spaniard lamented in reply: 'This country is full of abnormals'.
