As the mom attempted to clear the mess, she narrated the video with her honest thoughts during the cleaning process.

She began: 'The kitchen is so much worse than I could have imagined.

'I don't even want to look in the sink - a huge part of me knows how bad it is going to be because the entire kitchen smells like vinegar. That means there is rotting food hidden somewhere.'

'A huge part of me wants to feel shame over how the kitchen looks. The entire bottom of the sink is filled with old food.

'Every time I think I've seen the worst of it, I'm proven wrong.'

Having found the remnants of the smoothie she made before getting Covid, Hannah added: 'I can't believe how disgusting things are and I don't know how to get rid of the smell.'

'Most days I was too exhausted to get out of bed and when I could force myself off of it, it was to take care of my sick little one.'

She continued: 'When some of my symptoms started to get better, I was working everyday. I also did the laundry and cleaned the entire top floor.

'Acknowledging what I was able to do doesn't mean that I'm proud of how my kitchen looks.

'The smell alone told me how bad it was before I even saw it, but at the same time, I can also recognize I did the best that I could this week.'

But Hannah's followers were less concerned about the state of her kitchen and more focused on her husband as they asked why he had not cleaned during the time his family spent in isolation.

I don’t even know what food caused that mold. I don’t think I even want to know to be honest. | #cleaning #mess #clean #cleaningtiktok #cleaningtok #cleantok #cleantiktok #cleanwithme #cleaningmotivation #cleaningvideo

Another person comedically added: 'Oh... he didn't smell it.'

A third jokingly wrote: 'Thank you for reminding me I'm better off single.'

'Girl. The conversation my husband and I would be having. A WEEK,' a fourth person added.

One person asked: 'Why are you cleaning it???' and Hannah replied: 'Because it needed to be done.'

Another commenter asked: 'What did your husband do?'

But Hannah came to her husband's defense as she responded: 'He brought us food, medicine, walked the dogs, worked, Facetimed with me so I'd feel less alone and tried to clean. He's wasn't perfect but I'm often not either.'

Other commenters offered Hannah advice as one person wrote: 'You deserved the space to recover. This isn't reasonable for you to have to manage alone'

Hannah responded: 'Thanks hun. I couldn't have done it even if we weren't isolating. Just moving took up way too much energy.'

Another wrote: 'Oh this is NOT your fault. Do NOT feel shame for this. I can't imagine getting over COVID and having to immediately clean a kitchen that hasn't been touched in a week when my husband was healthy.'

Hannah replied: 'I appreciate you reminding me the unhealthy and insidious nature of shame and the empathy of what a stressful experience that was.'

One person commented: 'YOU deserve so much more in your teammate,' and she responded: 'I appreciate you reminding me of my worth, but I don't share this story because it's not mine to tell.

'We've both been through a lot. We're both growing, but you're right. He should have done better.'
