Thursday's women's basketball game between Southern Mississippi and Arkansas State descended into chaos after a brawl broke out during the third quarter.
Five players ended up being ejected from the game following the shocking melee.
The altercation took place after Red Wolves forward Emma Imevbore became tangled up with Lady Eagles guard Domonique Davis as the two players battled for a rebound.
Imevbore appeared to shove Davis, prompting her rival and Davis' teammates Noelani Cornfield and Brikayla Gray to immediately retaliate.
A pushing match ensued near the Southern Mississippi bench, with several players and staff members ending up on the floor.

Imevbore appeared to shove Davis with players from both teams soon involved in the clash
Players sitting along the bench quickly jumped in, attempting to break up the incident. But instead the brawl ended in a dogpile as other players and coaches were knocked to the ground.
Southern Mississippi forward Asjha Leake could be seen pulling Imevbore to the ground in a headlock as she intervened in the altercation.
The Lady Eagles went on to win the game 57-48 after the game resumed.
Southern Mississippi controlled the game throughout the second half and out scored Arkansas State in both the third and fourth quarters. The Red Wolves ended up scoring only two points in the entire fourth quarter.
