Hilarious moment wild monkey boldly enters hotel room then helps itself to snacks and a vape while astonished US tourists look on

This is the hilarious moment a wild monkey invites itself into a hotel room before helping itself to snacks and a vape while astonished US tourists look on. 

One of the tourists, a girl who has white dreadlocks and nose piercings, first appears on the video waiting for one of the monkeys on the balcony to enter the hotel room.

While she is keeping her eye on the local wildlife, her friend, who is sporting a similar haircut, is in bed. 

The girl who is filming then gasps and says: 'There's another one. I think it's going to come here and get it. You need to wake up.'

One of the monkeys swings into the room holding onto the curtain, and the girl says: 'Hi hunny, you want the apple?'

The inquisitive monkey then runs over to a small cupboard and briefly jumps onto it to find any treats before running back outside.

Another monkey is shown on the bed of the girl who is sleeping.

The other tourist says: 'You have a monkey on your bed.'

It hops off and opens the cupboard door before hanging from it and doing a jump-spin back onto the bed.

The monkey then jumps onto another bed and picks up a blue vape, holding it closely to its mouth.

The girl says: 'It's smoking my vape!'

The monkey then leaves the room via the balcony door.

Social media users were quick to comment on the video, with one noting: 'Spider monkeys love stealing things'.

Another wrote: 'The other girl 100% thinks she's dreaming this'.

Someone else posted: 'That's a Trip'.

Last month, a terrified tourist robbed by a monkey was unable to do anything but helplessly watch on as the primate began to devour her passport.

The Portuguese woman had her passport snatched at the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, Bali while she was unaware and by the time she noticed the monkey was already gnawing away at it.

Onlookers filmed the encounter as the woman unsuccessfully tried to trade a piece of paper in exchange for her critical document.

As she edged the offering toward the thieving monkey sitting atop a handrail, another crept up from behind and startled her.
