Police said state and federal emergency response teams are now involved with local agencies in the search for the toddler, including drones and K9 teams.
In a Wednesday press conference, police did not provide any further information but sought to reassure the public that they are following up on leads, searching the area and combing through neighborhoods, parks and wooded areas.
The toddler was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a long-sleeved dark-colored shirt and red and green dinosaur slip-on shoes.
Vue may be carrying a red and white plaid blanket seen in one of the photos released by police.
Police have said there are no family members or associates in the area.
Linda Vue, the toddler's aunt, has been out helping to search for the boy.
'Words can't explain what we're going through, Linda Vue said, according to Fox 11. 'Our hearts are very heavy right now at this time, we're all trying to be very hopeful, keeping our head's held high, hoping for the best outcome.'
The graveyard across the road from Vue's last known whereabouts has been searched

Neighbors have rallied to help police with search efforts and to hold candlelit vigils for Vue.
A volunteer search party was held on Wednesday morning and a prayer vigil on Wednesday night at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish. Sue Hett lives nearby and she told Fox 11 about her the help she has seen pour out.
'The outpouring yesterday was unbelievable. They had the SWAT team set up in the cemetery and a lot of police, a lot of everybody, but the people, cars, constant looking down each little street, people going slow, people on foot, I’ve never seen such an outpouring, and then the helicopter came, was right over our house and I think they were going up and down the river but we just got to find some answers,' Hett said.
Authorities are asking neighbors to check outbuildings, vehicles or other concealed areas on their property.
Anyone with a doorbell camera is also asked to check to see if Elijah shows up on the video.
However, police have requested locals do not use their own drones to search, as they could interfere with law enforcement drones.
