Woman, 54, details her anti-aging skincare secrets that keep her HANDS looking young - and it includes using a $42 La Mer dupe

A 54-year-old woman has shared all of her anti-aging tips for achieving 'beautiful hands' - and one of them includes a $42 dupe for the pricey La Mer cream.

The information was shared by TikTok creator Cristina this month, who has amassed more than 336,000 followers under the username @cristina.noh.

She often takes to her account to share various skincare tips, tricks and reviews, as well as other lifestyle content.

In this new clip, Cristina shared three of her top 'secrets' for achieving gorgeous, wrinkle-free hands when you're over the age of 50.

'Number one, whatever you're doing to your face and neck, do to your hands,' she began in the video.

'I use the Cris Method but make sure you are cleansing, you are exfoliating, you are using your actives, your vitamin C, your tretinoin, your peptides,' she continued, as she showed off her smooth hands.

'Whatever you're doing on your face, get that down into your hands.'

Her next tip was to invest in a hand serum, especially one that has 'occlusive properties.'

She explained that she used to love the serum made by expensive, cult-favorite skincare brand La Mer, but it was unfortunately discontinued.

'I actually for the longest time used La Mer hand serum, they discontinued it, they don't have it anymore,' she explained.

'I've stocked up, but I've also found an equivalent formula in Paume,' she said, holding up the bottle, which retails for $42.

Cristina said that the La Mer was about $120, while the one made by the brand Paume was significantly cheaper.

'This Paume hand serum is beautiful, when you put it on, it actually has the same consistency as La Mer,' she said.

'La Mer is a little bit more emollient, and they actually have different types of formulations, but this is just as good, and honestly, they're interchangeable for me.'

Last but not least, Cristina stressed that it was extremely important to apply sunscreen to your hands.

'Make sure you're using your sunscreen,' the content creator emphasized.

She recommended one by the brand Skin 1004 in the Madagascar line, explaining that it was 'really, really light and absorbent.'

'So, after I let the hand serum soak in, and you'll feel it, it's so silky, then I will put on sunscreen and I will reapply with my stick during the day,' Cristina said.

She concluded: 'You guys ask me all the time what my secrets are, now you have them.'
