American Idol's 'Nasty' Nigel Lythgoe has been hit with another sexual assault lawsuit after a woman alleged that the producer forcibly touched her in 2016.

The suit was filed on Saturday in Los Angeles Superior Court after Paula Abdul filed a separate lawsuit in December that alleged that Lythgoe assaulted her twice.

In the latest suit, Lythgoe, 74, is accused of assaulting the plaintiff, listed as a Jane Doe, inside his car for at least 10 minutes.

According to the lawsuit, the accuser said that she met with the producer at a Beverly Hills hotel and that he 'insisted' on driving her home.

'Plaintiff tried to push Lythgoe away from her and instruct Lythgoe’s driver how to return to her house, but Lythgoe continued to grab at Plaintiff, fondle her breasts, and kiss her,' the suit said.

'Lythgoe even shoved his hand up Plaintiff’s skirt and penetrated her genitalia.'

Lythgoe has been a prominent TV producer for decades in both the U.K. and the U.S., working on reality competition shows including American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.

The woman went on to say that Lythgoe eventually stopped once his driver arrived at her apartment after they allegedly took a longer route to her destination, the lawsuit said.

She added that since the interaction with Lythgoe, she has suffered severe mental distress, the suit said.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff has brought forward claims for sexual battery, gender violence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

An attorney for Lythgoe did not immediately respond to the DailyMail.com's request for comment.

Melissa Eubanks, Jane Doe and Abdul's lawyer, said: 'It is troubling to hear of yet another alleged incident of a woman being taken advantage of and abused by a prominent public figure.'

Jane Doe's lawsuit has gone on to seek an unspecified amount in damages, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Abdul filed a lawsuit against Lythgoe on December 30 and said that he assaulted her on two separate occasions.

According to the singer and dancer's suit, the first instance took place in the early 2000s when she was an American Idol judge. The second happened about a decade later when she was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, which she left after two seasons.

She claimed that Lythgoe 'verbally insulted and belittled her' and called her a 'has-been' when he hired her for American Idol in 2002.

She alleged that Lythgoe, who is reportedly worth $150 million, 'sexually assaulted her in a hotel lift' and, at a 2014 meeting at his house, allegedly 'forced himself on top of her and attempted to kiss her.'

The lawsuit claims that Abdul, 'pushed him off, explaining she was not interested in his advances, and immediately left.'

Abdul is seeking damages, likely to run in to millions of dollars, for sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, gender violence and negligence.

Lythgoe called the allegations an 'appalling smear' that he intends to fight.

'To say that I am shocked and saddened by the allegations made against me by Paula Abdul is a wild understatement,' the 74-year-old Englishman previously told TMZ

He then added that the 61-year-old Grammy winner had a 'history of erratic behavior' despite hiring her to work on both his Fox talent competitions.

A source close to Abdul told DailyMail.com that 'Paula knows it's time for Nigel to take accountability for his actions. He is a disgusting human being and women tolerate his behavior because of his power.

'He uses this to manipulate and make women feel as if they lucky to be in his presence,' the source added.

'For years she kept silent because she was afraid. Afraid to speak out against "Goliath" and she also knew that if she did her paycheck would not come. She needed money to survive and she actually started to believe she was washed up like he would tell her,' the source alleged.

Abdul also claimed that she saw another alleged assault the following year against one of her assistants, named only as 'April'.

'Lythgoe approached Abdul and April from behind, pressed himself up against April and began to grope her. April did not consent,' the lawsuit alleges.

Lythgoe is claimed to have 'taunted her' by calling seven years after the first alleged assault saying they should celebrate 'because it has been seven years and the statute of limitations has run out'.

Abdul seeks damages from production companies 19 Entertainment, Freemantle Media North America, American Idol Productions and Dance Nation Productions.

Representatives for Abdul and the production companies were approached for comment.

Two other women who were contestants on Lythgoe's 2003 ABC talent show All American Girl have also more recently claimed that he 'openly swatted and groped' their butts and tried to force himself on them when he had them alone.

Now, the studio that produces his long-running show SYTYCD is probing at least some of the claims, according to TMZ

Sony Pictures Television has reportedly launched an investigation into explosive sexual assault claims against the TV star as well.

Along with Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller, Lythgoe is one of the most successful British exports to Hollywood.

He owns a $25 million vineyard in California, a villa in Barbados and a sprawling mansion in the Hollywood Hills. He was awarded an OBE by the Queen in 2015.

He has two children with ex-wife Bonnie and has dated Priscilla Presley and Raquel Welch. He now dates actress Lisa LoCicero, 53.

A close friend said: 'This lawsuit is bull****. Nigel can be flirty but he never steps over the line. He is always surrounded by beautiful women but he has mostly been in committed relationships.'
