President Zelenskyy has blasted Tucker Carlson's fawning interview with Vladimir Putin as 'two hours of bullsh*t' from 'a killer'.

The Ukrainian leader admitted he didn't bother to watch the exchange, saying he did not have the time,

He made the comments during a sit down near the frontlines with Tucker's former colleague Bret Baier.

The full interview was aired on FOX's Special Report with Bret Baier.

The Ukrainian president revealed he was instead given a summary of some of the points by his advisers.

'I don't have time to hear more than two hours of bullsh*t about us, about the world, about the United States, about our relations, and this interview with a killer,' Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy also hit back at claims made by Putin in the Carlson interview that Ukraine had forbidden negotiations with Russia.

'So it's not negotiations. I mean, negotiations with tanks, with occupation of Ukraine was destroying our people. It's not about negotiation. That's the first thing,' Zelesnkyy said.

'Secondly, everyone knows and everyone will tell you, both Macron and Scholz, that they talked to Putin before the occupation, and he told that there would be no occupation, there would be no invasion.

'And like, after that, just half-an-hour before the invasion, he sent them a note. So he can't be trusted. And whatever he's promising, well, that's nothing.'

He went on to thank Biden for his continued support, and asked Donald Trump - who suggested loaning aid rather than dishing it out - to come to Ukraine to visit the front lines himself.

'If Trump, Mr. Trump, if he will come, I am ready even to go with him to the front line.

'I'm happy to see all the candidates and all the people who are decision-makers or can support, not to be against.

'Just understand what the war in Ukraine means, who opened this war, who began it, and what's going on, what's around, what brilliant Ukraine we had.

'We have beautiful country, but, in the war, it's another picture and other lives. I suggest him just to come. I'm ready to go with him. Maybe he wants alone, without me. It doesn't matter for me.

'Come, see people, just to speak to them on the street.'

It saw Putin take the opportunity to push his narrative on the war in Ukraine, urge Washington to recognize Russia's interests and press Kyiv to sit down for talks.

For more than two hours, a largely unchallenged Putin showered Carlson with skewed Russian history, propaganda, and Kremlin talking points.

Putin repeated his claim the full-scale invasion - which Kyiv and its allies describe as an unprovoked act of aggression - was to protect Russian interests and prevent Ukraine from posing a threat to Russia by joining NATO.

Prior to its release, US officials issued warnings to the public stating that Putin cannot be trusted.

The interview touched on the ongoing war, peace talks and the detention of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich on trumped up spying charges.

Putin also made a series of sensational claims, including that Bill Clinton deceived over NATO membership and that Russia's hypersonic missiles are the best in the world.

He shared his thoughts on presidents past and present, stating that he had a 'very good relationship' with George Bush and 'such a personal relationship' with Donald Trump.

However, the interview was blasted by critics who said Putin dominated Carlson in the interview in every aspect - including through his body language.

Putin for his part was apparently equally unimpressed, complaining that Carlson asked softball questions.

'To be honest, I thought he would be more aggressive and ask tough questions,' the autocrat said of 54-year-old Carlson in an appearance on state TV.

Carlson, who has made a career as a podcast host since being fired by Fox, defended his decision to conduct the interview by stating it was hit 'duty to the US'.
