The Duchess of Sussex’s sartorial reputation is built on elegant and timeless outfits and she was on point again when visiting British Columbia to publicise the 2025 Invictus Games, which are one year away.

Bringing her relaxed yet polished style to the Canadian mountains, Meghan gave a lesson in the art of accessories, combining designer pieces with everyday basics.

She remained timeless yet modern - and anything but boring.

From delicate gold jewellery and dazzling diamonds to cult it-bags and classic footwear, the Duchess of Sussex added individuality to her impeccable style, often donning statement-making pieces with subtle yet powerful messages through brands that back causes close to her heart.

Whether historic family treasures such as Princess Diana’s prized Cartier watch or staying true to her American girl roots with socially conscious jewellery brand Shiffon, Meghan mixed her luxe jewels with affordable knits and an array of boots set for the snow, delivering a masterclass in effortless elegance.

Snow Queen

Stepping out for the start of the Invictus Games One Year to Go event at a Winter training camp in Whistler, Meghan went monochrome.

She accessorised her white Calvin Klein puffer coat with £195 Sorel ‘Joan of Arctic’ boots, £58 Blenders ‘Grove’ sunglasses, and a £320 Burberry pom pom hat.

The cosy look was finished with her £479 Shiffon Duet Pinky Ring, and the late Princess Diana’s £18,000 Cartier Française Tank watch.

Valentine Red

Her £2250 Valentino ‘V-Ring’ crossbody bag gave a subtle hint to the romantic occasion and perfectly complemented her Loro Piana cape coat. Supporting one of her platforms of female empowerment, she wore her favourite £479 ‘Duet Pinky Ring’ by Shiffon which aims to close the gender pay gap by donating profits to female founders.

Preppy Perfection

When welcomed to visit the Mount Currie Community Centre, the Duchess of Sussex used her accessories to elevate a simple Giorgio Armani coat.

She finished the preppy ensemble with her Française Tank watch, £7050 Love bracelet and £4365 Diamond Hex tennis bracelet by Hollywood publicist-turned- jeweller Ariel Gordon.

High-Low Off-Duty

Visiting the Whistler Sliding Centre, Meghan turned to Canadian store Aritzia for her £44 Babaton cashmere hat and £38 Sunday Best scarf together with £58 Blenders ‘Grove’ sunglasses, combining the affordable pieces with a reversible Hermès bomber jacket.

A £180 black quilted Bottega Veneta phone case completed the ensemble.

Sophisticated Neutrals

Showing the value of investment pieces, the Duchess of Sussex recycled a pair of £215 Maxmara suede gloves which were first worn in 2019.
