An American woman who moved to London has shared her gripes with everyday life in the capital.
Seattle native Naz, who goes by @mynameisnaz on TikTok moved to Britain two years ago and has noted some of the things that have baffled her.
The content creator, who works in the beauty industry, began her two-minute breakdown by talking about money and moved onto drinking culture in the UK, work and even tap water.
But Londoners were quick to debate the cultural quirks with the TikToker, with many defending the capital's after work drinking culture.
Naz, who works in ethical beauty took the plunge a couple years ago and moved from Seattle to London
In the clip, she said: 'Number one they won't fight over the bill. No one is running to collect that bill, no one's treating anyone, everyone's paying for what they got and that's that'.
'Number 2 everyone just has money. Granted if you live in London you need to be making a certain amount of money period.
'But the way people seemingly just have a bottomless fund for restaurants, holidays, activities just doesn't align with the cost of living crisis'.
While Naz wasn't convinced that the cost-of-living crisis was affecting Londoners, she did feel that British workers were being disadvantaged in the workplace.
She claimed: 'People love to work for free. I've noticed what a lot of freelancers or creatives are doing which is just accepting unpaid opportunities for credit.
'It feels like a lot of employers take advantage of young, ambitious people'.
Another gripe the content creator shared with her 22,000 followers was the prevalence of tap water.
'They love tap water! Any time you go to eat, you're going to have room temperature water that's been sitting out all day.
Naz has documented a lot of her move online and also shared some of her gripes with Britain but insists she loves London despite some of the differences
'That's fine and dandy because it's free but in America it's not so normal to only drink tap water. A lot of people buy bottled water.
'I think I've just gotten used to it and I'm afraid of what's lurking in the pipes here in London.'
Naz also commented on the British and their love for booze.
She quipped: 'We all know British people love drinking, especially after work but it wasn't until I was in central London on a weekday after 5pm where I saw all of the corporate clones in masses at pubs.
'I personally find it slightly scary'.
Her final observation involved commuting, and her struggle to keep up with London's notoriously fast walkers.
'They want slow walkers to die! As a professional slow walker I cannot tell you the amount of times I've been trampled, pushed, or shoved'.
However, the beauty worker insisted: 'Regardless of all of these things I love London living'.
TikTokers took to Naz' comment section to defend some of the quirks we have in Britain, with some claiming bottled water was futile in the UK
But not everybody who watched the video was convinced that the points listed warranted scrutiny.
One TikTok user admitted: 'The money thing is false. Trust me, I live in east London with £11.35 in my account'.
Another quipped: 'Cost of living crisis sis. We don't have money to fight over a bill'. A different user also chimed in: 'You're probably hanging out with well off people'.
And one took issue with what they felt was her judgement of week day booze ups: 'People at pubs after work are literally just socialising and catching up over a pint. It's not a big deal'.
But the TikToker hit back and replied: 'It definitely catches you off guard if you've never seen it before'.
Others felt 'it's so wasteful and not to mention unnecessary to be buying bottled water' and one user admitted: 'I'm a Londoner and the slow walker thing is a hill I will die on'.
