Anti-impeachment Republican Rep. Ken Buck is now calling for President Biden to be removed from office another way - through the 25th Amendment.

The Colorado Republican claims that Biden is not fit to serve after Special Counsel Robert Hur found the president mishandled classified documents because he is elderly and forgetful.

A resolution he introduced Monday demands Vice President Kamala Harris immediately convene the Cabinet and declare 'what is obvious to a horrified nation: That the President is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office.'

A majority of Biden's 12 Cabinet members would have to provide Congress with written notice of their belief that their boss is not fit to serve.

'The societal challenges and security threats our country faces are innumerable and require a chief executive with both strong mental and physical faculties,' Buck told DailyMail.com in a statement. 'The time has come for the vice president and the Cabinet to put our country first and move forward on invoking the 25th Amendment.'

In addition to the damning Hur report, Buck notes Biden, 81, 'has been televised wandering aimlessly at events,' falls walking up the stairs of Air Force One and often speaks in an 'incoherent and indiscernible manner.'

Hur in his report declined to recommend prosecuting Biden, who had placed classified documents in his garage in Delaware, in his think tank office and even shared them with a biographer because he is a 'sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.'

In an interview with Hur, Biden could not recall what years he was vice president and when his son Beau had died.

Hur's report proved politically explosive, and precipitated an angry press conference by the president Thursday night - where Biden confused the president of Mexico with the president of Egypt.

Buck even referenced Biden's meeting with the late Russian dissident Alexei Navalny's wife Yulia Navalnaya, after which Biden referred to her as 'Yolanda.'

'President Biden represents the interests of the United States before hostile foreign leaders, and is authorized to respond to endless domestic and international emergencies, all of which necessitate a leader who is of sound mind,' the resolution reads.

Buck, who is retiring from his seat at the end of this congressional term, has long been opposed to the Biden impeachment efforts in the House, deeming them 'failure theater.' He was one of only three House Republicans who opposed the impeachment resolution of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas.
