Australian Swifties are calling out 'disrespectful' concertgoers who ruined their Eras show experience by getting too drunk.
Fans reported seeing people seated near them getting so drunk they had to leave before the concert started, spilling drinks on others and even vomiting on fellow patrons.
Dozens of stories were shared online over the course of Taylor Swift's seven Australian shows about inebriated people 'ruining' some fans' nights and even had others considering selling their tickets before.
However, most said they thought the drunken punters were just an example of a 'few bad apples' saying they had an 'amazing' experience in a sober crowd.
'Hot tip for fans! Please don't drink too much and, a) vomit all over the people seated in front of you, b) get carted out by your friends with your shoes missing before the show has even started,' one woman said after the Saturday show.
Taylor Swift fans have slammed concertgoers for 'wasting' their tickets by getting intoxicated at the Eras shows. One person said they were vomited on before the star took the stage
'You've ruined your night, your friend's night, and worse, some poor unsuspecting fans (and that was two separate occasions).'
One ticketholder said a woman vomited twice during the course of the show while another said someone spilt eight drinks on her and the woman seated next to her as well as their belongings.
'She kept hitting us in the head when drunk dancing, then she fell asleep midway through the concert,' she said.
Another said a similar thing happened to her in that she was 'vomited all over' during support act Sabrina Carpenter's set.
'Barely any assistance from staff either. I wasn't able to trade any friendship bracelets during the night as I smelt so bad and stayed away,' she reported.
'Impressive that someone can get that sloshed before the headline act even begins,' someone replied.
One mum said a woman was so intoxicated she couldn't stand on her own and had to be propped up by her friend for the entire three-hour show.
'That was after she spilled her drinks on everyone around her and almost hit us all in the face with her arms flinging around everywhere. The woman next to her threatened to get security if she didn't sit down,' she claimed.
Many were shocked by the 'awful' stories while most who attended said they saw no incidents of drunken behaviour saying the crowd was 'sober' and 'amazing'
'My daughter almost got intoxicated from the fumes emanating from the woman behind her! Pretty pathetic that someone can't enjoy a concert without getting that plastered!'
Someone said they saw two women get escorted out of the venue for being drunk and sick in the stands.
'A lovely man helped and grabbed a rubbish bag and some wipes etc. Staff took ages to come but eventually did with a mop. It stunk!' she said.
'If it's alcohol that's not on and to be so drunk at a concert like that with all ages shouldn't be allowed. If the lady was sick or ill I guess that can be excused. We really felt for the ladies with vomit in their hair and clothes.'
One said the outfit they had spent hours making was ruined by drinks spilled by a drunk patron.
Many were shocked by the 'awful' stories while some were deterred from attending the shows they had tickets to.
'This makes me not want to go now. It's causing me severe anxiety. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Some people are just disrespectful and disgusting. They should be fined in my opinion,' one Swiftie said.
'Why the need to get that stupidly drunk in the first place?' a second asked.
'I love a drinky drink at a concert (one or two) but at Taylor?! You best believe I'll be sober! The atmosphere will be better than any drink! And how can you miss a song to go to the bar?' a third replied.
'You most likely wouldn't even remember the show! Totally get two or three bevvies to relax and whatnot but that's so gross and ruins the experience for those around you,' someone agreed.
But others reported seeing no incidents of drunken behaviour.
'Just sharing my experience to calm the anxiety for people who might be feeling nervous. Our section 132 was amazing and everyone was responsible and caring. We all sang and danced the night away without any drama. No one was wasted or irresponsible,' one woman responded.
'We went last night, were actually talking this morning about how unusually sober the crowd around up was. No lines at the bars, loads of parents with young kids. It felt really wholesome,' another wrote.
'I went Saturday night and while there were people around us drinking everyone was just soaking up the atmosphere. No one was OTT intoxicated and it was such a great experience,' a third added.
