Stunning drone pictures show a massive abandoned 'haunted' mansion - used in the first episode of WWII TV drama Outlander.

Dunmore Park House was once the home of George Murray, 5th Earl of Dunmore, and built by architect William Wilkins in the 1820s.

In 1911, the home was purchased by the Jones timber family, and was in their possession until 1960.

For three years, the mansion in Falkirk in Scotland served as a boarding school for girls but was abandoned in 1964.

Parts of the estate were split up and auctioned off, with several sections being demolished in 1972 after safety concerns - with plans to demolish the whole property in 1987.

The plans fell through - and in the decades since, many more plans to restore and demolish the building have also failed.

Now, the building lies abandoned - and with several "haunting" rumours, after urban explorers claimed to hear ghosts in 2019.

People that have been down to the cellar floor say that there is a strong feeling that you are being watched by something.
