An illegal immigrant from Honduras has been accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in Louisiana - as outrage grows over the tragic death of Georgia student Laken Riley who was 'murdered by undocumented border crosser.'

Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, 19, was arrested on Sunday around 3.15am after he committed armed robbery and stabbed a man on Phoenix Street in Kenner.

Officers from the Kenner Police Department soon realized that Castellanos-Orellana was also wanted for raping a 14-year-old girl at knifepoint after she reported the incident to police on Tuesday.

The suspect, who cops say is as an 'undocumented Honduran national' was arrested for armed robbery, aggravated battery, first degree rape, and aggravated assault.

Within just three days, three violent crimes have allegedly happened at the hands of migrants -  after a Venezuelan migrant was accused of killing Riley, 22, and an illegal El Salvadoran migrant was accused of killing a two-year-old boy in Maryland.

A Federal Immigration and Enforcement detainer was also issued for Castellanos-Orellana as well, according to a press release from the police.

At the time of the armed robbery, police said that the male victim was getting out of his car when Castellanos-Orellana approached him, demanded his property and proceeded to stab him in the back and face.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

FOX 8 reported that when authorities arrived at the scene of the stabbing, they found Castellanos-Orellana 'covered in blood.'

The week before, police said that a 14-year-old girl met the same suspect in the Susan Park neighborhood after the two connected on social media.

She then reported to the police that he raped her last week, and he was accused of attacking the young girl, holding a knife to her throat and raping her.

After the girl came forward about the crime, a detective obtained a warrant for his arrest. Before he was caught in the armed robbery, Castellanos-Orellana was still considered wanted by police.

Chief Keith Conley of the Kenner Police Department slammed illegal immigration and said that it has made it hard to identify suspect 'due to the lack of documentation.'

Investigators did discover that Castellanos-Orellana previously used other aliases like Elven Locket and Angel Matias.

Conley added that illegal immigrants are 'not only a drain on police manpower but a financial drain on local law enforcement’s budgets and taxpayer’s money.'

'In a 25-day period, this illegal alien caused terror in our community. We are glad he is off our streets, but will he be back? Will he have a new identity? What other crimes has he committed since he crossed our borders.'

Last week, Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, was arrested at his apartment complex near the running trail close to where Riley's body was found.

Ibarra is accused of using an unknown object as a weapon to kill the 22-year-old Augusta University student and preventing her from making a 911 call when he allegedly grabbed her between 9am and 1pm on Thursday February 22.

Riley's body was found the same day on the University of Georgia campus in a forested area near Lake Herrick that includes trails popular with runners and walkers. The student had been out jogging when she was allegedly attacked by Ibarra.

Police said Riley died from 'blunt force trauma' after being beaten and that she suffered a 'disfigured skull'.

They added that Ibarra dragged her body to a secluded area to conceal the death, according to an arrest affidavit seen by CBS News.

Neighbors of the Venezuelan migrant have since said that he would watch the running path all day long and that he was seen on security cameras throwing out bloody clothes on the day of the attack.

'He took all of the evidence. He's on camera with his bloody clothes in a bag,' one neighbor said.

She added that she had seen Riley cut through the complex before to get to the running path and claimed Ibarra had likely seen the student before because he would sit outside all day long.

The 26-year-old crossed into El Paso, Texas, in September 2022 but had been released from a detention center due to a lack of space.

He was charged in Riley's killing with felony murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping and concealing the death of another.

Another man, Nilson Trejo-Granados, 25, was arrested in Maryland and charged with murder in the case of a two-year-old who was shot and killed this month.

The illegal immigrant is the fifth person arrested in connection to the tragic death of toddler Jeremy Poou Caceres, who met his end while out on a walk in the park with his mother.

On February 8, Jeremy and his mother were walking on Kanawha Street in Langley Park when shots were fired between two groups of men.

The toddler and his mother were caught in the crossfire, and Jeremy was fatally struck. He was taken to Children's National hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Law enforcement officers say the gunfire was intended for Jeremy and his mom.

Prior to the fatal encounter, Trejo-Granados, according to ICE and police records, has had several previous run-ins with the law.

He was released from jail twice following repeated theft charges and order to leave the country.

A DOJ immigration judge in Newark, New Jersey, ordered the man's removal from the United States in November of 2022.

He was charged by the Prince George County Police Department with first and second-degree murder and two local teens, 15 and 16, were also arrested as police believe they drove a stolen car to the crime scene and began shooting.
