A five-year-old autistic girl was miraculously rescued by Florida deputies using infrared technology after she wandered into swampy woodlands.
Shortly after 5 pm on Monday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office aviation unit was called to help with a missing persons report.
The missing person was a five-year-old little girl who had wandered away from her Florida home.
Using amazing thermal imaging technology, the aviation unit was able to locate the child in under an hour.
Thermal camera footage showed the little girl walking through the wooded area - leading deputies to her location.

'[The deputies'] quick action saved the day, turning potential tragedy into a hopeful reunion,' said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
'Their dedication shows what service and protection are all about here at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.'

'Oh, there she is,' one of the deputies said. The deputies then beckoned her over, saying 'come here sweetie' and 'come here sweetheart.

The deputy leading the group reached out his arms as he navigated through the swampy water to scoop the little girl out.
'Hi baby girl,' the deputy said. 'Let's get you out of the water.'
After carrying the five-year-old through the woodlands and back to their vehicles, the deputies checked to make sure she had no injuries.
The little girl was found with no reported injuries before being returned to her family.
'We were looking for you sweetheart,' the deputy said at the end of the heartwarming rescue.
