Newly released footage shows the horrifying moment a Colorado schoolgirl attacked a female bus driver after she asked the teen's boyfriend to get off.
Jefferson County school bus driver Laura Owen was attacked by a female student on the vehicle after she forced the couple to get off for breaking bus rules on January 29.
Initially, Owen had requested the student's boyfriend to disembark as he kept moving around the aisle, standing and putting her safety in danger.
But then, in a surveillance video obtained by FOX31, a young woman can be seen on a phone call with a woman she claimed to be her mother who was on the line seemingly threatening the driver.
In the video, Owen can be heard repeating the threats allegedly being said her on the phone, asking the person on the phone to confirm, 'she's going to kill me? She's going to kill me?'

'I can’t change what happened. I can only pray that things get safer throughout the district, she further told the channel.
According 9News, Owen had demanded that the duo get off at a stop at Arvada High School.
Trevor Byrne, vice president of the Jeffco Education Support Professionals Association and bus driver with Jeffco Public Schools commented: 'I don't think any staff at Jeffco should ever have to fear for their safety while they're working, ever.'
He also said that if a bus assistant had been present in the moment, the situation could have been de-escalated.

In a statement, Jeffco Public Schools said an investigation has begun and disciplinary action is being taken.
'A very serious incident took place on one of our school buses which resulted in harm to one of our bus drivers. Disciplinary action has been initiated by the district and local law enforcement has an open investigation related to this matter.
'We want to commend the other students who were on the bus at the time who checked in on the driver’s wellbeing and offered her support in addition to the SRO who responded immediately.
'It is absolutely unacceptable to us that an employee would come to harm on the job. In reviewing all safety incidents we strive to improve and strengthen our measures to keep our staff and students safe.'
A GoFundMe has been set up by Owen's niece, Cerena to help the victim pay her medical bills, counseling services and recover lost wages.
'We are setting up this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial stress so that Laura can focus on her healing journey without the weight of financial worries', Cerena wrote.
