New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has finally spoken out about being clobbered to the ground by Warriors guard Chris Paul on Thursday night.
The incident happened at the end of the third quarter after Brunson caught an inbounds pass and attempted to dribble up the court before Paul set a pick, leveling the Knicks All-Star to the Madison Square Garden hardwood.
The buzzer signaling the end of the third quarter went off after the collision, with the 38-year-old extended a hand to his opponent.
Brunson gave Paul a nasty look and said some words to Paul, who responded by walking away with his hands in the air. Brunson was eventually helped to his feet by fellow Knick Bojan Bogdanovic.
Although Brunson looked angry and rejected the hand from Paul in the game, the Knicks' leader said there is no bad blood between them.

'First, I’ve got the utmost respect for Chris,' Brunson said to Bleacher Report. 'I’ve known him since high school, and he has a great relationship with my dad (Knicks assistant Rick Brunson).'
'It’s all love before the game. I said "Hi" to him before the game. I said "Hi" after the game. But during the game, I mean, if I get knocked down, I prefer my teammates to help me up, no matter what the situation is,' Brunson added.
'So when he came to pick me up, I was just like, "Nah, I can’t right now." And that’s all I said,' Brunson concluded.
The incident did not effect Paul that badly, as the Warriors defeated the surging Knicks 110-99.
Paul finished the game with 16 points, while Brunson had 27.
