Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith has bought suits at a Soho tailor as he prepares to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house having been 'read the riot act' by the Princess of Wales's mother over fears he could spill royal secrets.
Gary, brother of Kate's mother Carole Middleton, was seen collecting a set of smart new suits from from one of his niece's favoured bespoke outfitters, Chris Kerr, who has previously made several formal items for the Princess.
Kate has not left her home on the Windsor Castle estate since her stay at the London Clinic in January for abdominal surgery - and her husband the Prince of Wales was today asked 'William, how's Catherine?' during a visit to Wrexham.
Gary, a multi-millionaire thanks to his successful recruitment business, was spotted at Kerr's Soho studio trying on the items one last time before his big appearance.
Gary was with his daughter Tallulah for the shopping trip, ahead of his reported arrival on Celebrity Big Brother's new series which begins broadcasting tonight.

The outspoken businessman was also spotted yesterday picking up some last-minute shopping ahead of the celebrity edition of the series returning to our screens after a six-year absence.
The duchess's 'black sheep' uncle has been scolded by her parents amid fears he could spill secrets about the Royal Family, sources have claimed.
It's been rumoured that Goldsmith, 58, has secured a substantial deal with ITV.
His appearance in the Big Brother house could cause another headache for The Firm amid speculation about Kate's whereabouts as she continues to recover from abdominal surgery.
It also comes as King Charles continues treatment for cancer and the Royal Family mourns the loss of Thomas Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor.
An insider told The Sun: 'Gary said he's been read the riot act by Kate's mum Carole and her dad Michael.
'They aren't happy he's going into Celebrity Big Brother. It is infuriating to them. Kate doesn't need this stress.'
The source claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan - who Goldsmith has attacked in the past - could be in the firing line.

The source said that 'black sheep' Goldsmith did not have his family's blessing to go into the house but is doing it anyway. The businessman is understood to have told friends that he won't do anything to hurt Kate or William.
The Sun also pictured Goldsmith arriving at the ITV studios in London on Sunday ahead of his rumoured entrance into the house. He was seen leaving a black Audi with a suitcase and was wearing a navy cap, jeans, a grey hoodie and a leather jacket.
He walked into the building with two silver suitcases and a suit carrier.
Goldsmith attempted to gain a spot on I'm A Celebrity last year, but was turned down over concerns it could embarrass William and Kate.
He previously spoke out against Harry and Meghan after the release of Spare and is known for his 'outspoken' opinions on the couple.
Royal experts have previously criticised the decision to welcome him into the Celebrity Big Brother house – calling the move 'embarrassing' and possibly 'dangerous' to the royal family during a testing period.
Royal author Angela Levin told The Sun: 'I think it's cringe-making, very embarrassing, the trouble is he doesn't like Harry and Meghan at all, some of this comments will fall onto Catherine and she's had a lot against her, she's not well, she's in hospital.
'I think when you come out of an operation you're quite vulnerable and this could upset her enormously. In principle people who don't like her could say she encouraged him to do it, but she would have done nothing of the kind.
'It's very embarrassing. It's very hard being a royal, and I don't know if this is a good idea.'
Show insiders say producers are delighted to have secured Goldsmith as a contestant because of his links to the Royal Family – and because of his penchant for saying what he thinks, particularly about Kate's brother-in-law, Prince Harry.

Goldsmith, writing for the Mail a year ago, slammed Harry's autobiography Spare as 'petulant, self-serving...fluff'.
His I'm A Celeb audition ended in failure, allegedly because bosses were worried about his potential to embarrass the royal family, but CBB chiefs believe his brusque, shoot-from-the-hip style of straight-talking will fit their format.
Goldsmith was a guest at William and Kate's wedding in 2011. He made his living building an IT recruitment business, but has been caught up in scandals, including being pictured with drugs in Ibiza.
He was also arrested in October 2017 after allegedly assaulting his fourth wife Julie-Ann outside their central London home.
Goldsmith knocked her to the ground after she accused him of taking drugs during a drunken fight outside their home in the early hours of October 13 2017.
The Met said at the time of his arrest: 'Police in Westminster were called to an address at 01:24hrs on Friday 13 October following reports of a domestic incident.
'Officers arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of domestic assault.
'He has been taken to a central London police station for questioning.
'A woman found injured was taken to hospital.'
He later pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating and was fined £5,000 and handed a 12-month community order with 20 sessions of rehabilitation.

It comes after Sharon Osbourne 's astonishing Celebrity Big Brother fee for five days was reportedly been revealed
Since then he has attacked what he sees as insults to his family, including his niece and William, including episodes of The Crown, royal biographer Omid Scobie's book Endgame and Harry's memoir Spare.
The Sun reported at the weekend that Osbourne will be paid £100,000 per day for the five days she is there.
The former X Factor judge, 71, will reportedly not stay for the full 17 days as insiders said that her fee was too expensive for ITV.
The publication claims that ITV reached a £500,000 deal with her to enter the house for the short amount of time, after they found her fee for the whole three-week series too expensive.
A source told the publication: 'Bosses did all they could to get Sharon and finally reached a deal she's happy with.
'Sharon will inject enough drama but without her original price tag that was just not feasible.
'Producers cannot wait to see her reunite with Louis and know that it will be TV gold.'
ITV and Sharon's representatives have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
A Celebrity Big Brother spokesperson then told MailOnline: 'Any names are at this point pure speculation and viewers will have to tune to see who will be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.'
Celebrity Big Brother starts on March 4 on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
