It's a common bedtime practice for some: you're putting on your skincare, brushing your hair, even flossing your teeth, when you notice a pimple hanging out above your right eyebrow.

You begin to squeeze it, and then, examine your skin a bit deeper in the mirror. You ask yourself - have those lines in my forehead always been there?

What about those large pores on my nose? And why do my eyelashes look so short? Those dead ends on my hair?

While it's not great to pick ourselves apart like this, we can't deny that it happens, and it turns out that there are some quick fixes to our beauty woes.

FEMAIL has spoken to multiple beauty, hair and skincare experts to uncover the simple treatments that can help anyone to look more attractive and feel more confident in their own skin.

Experiment with your eyelashes and eyebrows - even a tint can make all the difference

While it may seem like a small thing, giving your eyelashes and eyebrows some extra love can make a big difference in how you look.

There are multiple treatments that one can do to take their lashes and brows to the next level, like a tint, which typically takes less than 15 minutes to get done.

According to Ashleigh Anderson, a lash artist and esthetician based in Florida, tinting the eyelashes creates the 'perfect no-mascara, mascara look.'

'Tinting eyelashes and eyebrows is a perfect way to bring definition into those areas,' she told DailyMail.com of the treatment, which lasts around two to three weeks.

'Tinting your eyebrows creates an even coverage to blend any lighter and/or baby hairs to create a beautiful and bolder brow,' she continued.

Pairing an eyelash tint with an eyelash lift can also help to accentuate and draw attention to your eyes.

An eyelash lift is similar to a perm treatment, according to Cleveland Clinic, as it uses a special solution that curls the eyelashes semi-permanently.

Anderson said that it will last for about six to eight weeks, and 'is a perfect option for anyone who wants a eyelash-curled mascara look without the possible damage an eyelash curler can cause.'

'Pair that service with using a lash serum and your natural lashes will look so beautiful and luxurious,' she recommended to DailyMail.com.

Up the drama and take your eyelashes to the next level with extensions

If you want to try something a bit more than just a simple tint and lift around the eyes, there's also the option of getting eyelash extensions.

Eyelash extensions are applied by using individual false lashes and gluing them on to the eyelid, typically lasting about two to three weeks between fill-in appointments.

There are all different kinds of lashes that you can get, made of different materials such as mink, silk or synthetic.

'I believe eyelash extensions complement your natural beauty, they bring attention to your eyes and can be specifically customized to enhance your features,' Anderson told DailyMail.com.

Eyelash extensions are also another option in place of a lash lift, applied by using individual false lashes and gluing them on to the eye

'For example you have small eyes and want to make them appear bigger, a doll eye shape is perfect by using longer lengths in the middle of your eye and shorter lengths on the corners.'

However, extensions require a lot more work than tinting and lash lifts do.

Anderson explained that you want to make sure you're cleaning the lash extensions with lash shampoo and brushing them out daily.

However, what's most important is making sure that you find a properly licensed technician to apply your falsies - as ones put on poorly can cause infection and even mites on the lash.

'A consultation before any service appointment is a great way to ensure you're with the right artist for you!' Anderson emphasized.

Say cheese! Whitening the teeth can boost your smile confidence

  • Toothpastes: Laser Glow Purple Toothpaste Color Corrector, Crest 3D White Brilliance Teeth Whitening Toothpaste, POPWHITE Whitening Primer Toothpaste and Kesler Purple Teeth Whitening Booster
  • Whitening pens: Colgate Optic White Overnight Teeth Whitening Pen and GO SMILE On The Go Teeth Whitening Pen
  • Whitening kit: Oralgen Nupearl.Pro Advanced Teeth Whitening System

If you're feeling down about your smile, an easy fix is teeth whitening, which can either be done with products used at home or in a professional's office.

'Teeth whitening is a temporary solution to brighten your teeth,' NYC-based dentist to the stars Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein divulged to DailyMail.com.

To achieve the white and bright look, dentists will apply a special whitening gel on your teeth, followed by an LED light.

'In-office, professional whitening treatments typically have a higher, more powerful, effective level of strength and staying power,' Dr. Rubinshtein shared with DailyMail.com.

'They offer stronger, professional-grade whitening gels that can give you a better result,' he continued.

Depending on the patient, they may need to come back any where from three to six months for another treatment.

However, there are still some things all patients have to keep in mind when taking care of their newly-whitened teeth.

'If you have habits such as smoking, drinking coffee/tea, drinking red wine, eating food with heavy sauces, then your teeth whitening procedure won't last long,' the dentist explained.

He warned that these habits might make your in-office teeth whitening treatment last for only two to three weeks, with an at-home treatment lasting for one.

'If you stay away from those foods, drinks and habits, and also brush and floss two times a day then you can prolong the brightness of your teeth,' the expert said.

Self-tanning can give you a glow from the inside out

Getting a spray tan is not only an instant confidence-booster, but extremely easy and quick, taking no more than thirty minutes of your day.

'I think a tan can make you feel more confident, sometimes a little color on the face and legs gives all the confidence in the world and confidence is very attractive!' Natalia Radosz, who owns New York based spray tanning company Glow 2 Go, shared.

Getting a spray tan can also help to accentuate certain parts of your body, Radosz explained to DailyMail.com, like contouring a bigger bust or 'defined abdomen.'

It's important to make sure you go to a salon that is properly trained in giving spray tans, though, as well as one that uses a formula that's paraben free, Radosz told DailyMail.com.

The Glow 2 Go owner said that you may get them done as often as you want, but typically recommends two weeks between each session.

In between appointments, you will want to make sure that you're moisturizing every day and exfoliating.

To make the tan last as long as possible, Radosz recommended drinking lots of water and moisturizing your skin to avoid having your tan flake off.

In a similar vein, tanning drops, which are concentrated forms of self tanner, can be useful to have on hand in your beauty routine for a quick glow.

Bethany Menzel, the co-founder and creative director of viral self-tanning brand Saltyface, told DailyMail.com that it can help you to achieve the 'perfect no makeup look,' and leave you with compliments on your skin.

For the most natural glow, she recommended taking a dropperful of their Tanning Water in the palm of your hand and then massaging it into already moisturized skin.

'Make sure to work it up into your hairline and onto your ears as well,' Menzel instructed. 'Use another dropper for your neck and chest.'

A good blowout can work wonders and even 'accentuate bone structure'

The key to looking more attractive may lie in a good blowout, according to legendary hair colorist, stylist and creative director Paul Labrecque with Paul Labrecque Salon and Skincare Spa.

'A good blowout makes the hair look healthy and un-frizzy, and that makes everyone look more attractive,' Labrecque explained to DailyMail.com.

'Also, a good style accentuates your bone structure, and draws your eye where you want it to, thus making the most of your natural looks,' he added.

'For example, if a cut is directed to move hair forward, then to get it to move backward in a blowout that would require a lot (likely too much) of product,' he explained.

And, when it comes to achieving healthy hair in general, Labrecque insists that 'less is more.'

'Incorporate cool rinses, do no over-shampoo, overuse chemicals or overuse heat styling,' he advised.

Facials can aid in skin health and give you an overall glow

While we may be focused on all of these other beauty treatments, it is important that we make sure our skin health is in check, too.

'Removing dead skin cells, massaging the face and using proper technology is going to help with any fine lines, wrinkles, brighten the skin, and add an overall unified glow,' esthetician Rachel Bryant at Paul Labrecque told DailyMail.com.

Bryant recommended getting a facial done every 23 to 27 days in order to maintain skin health.

If you have skin that's more 'problematic,' you might want to consider getting a facial every two weeks.

She says the secret to healthy skin is making sure you're taking care of yourself and your stress levels.

'Make sure you regulate your stress, have a mindful diet and also have a skincare good routine,' she divulged to DailyMail.com.

'Don't follow the trends you see on socials, and actually go to an esthetician to have them help you get on the right track on what to use at home,' she continued, adding, 'Oh, and also sleep, sleep, SLEEP.'
