The woman who became a viral sensation on TikTok after sharing her wild story about how she married a 'pathological liar' and 'master manipulator' has alleged that her ex-husband didn't even take her to hospital when she was having a miscarriage.

Reesa Teesa claimed that her former lover - who she referred to as Legion in her 50-part video series on the popular social media site - pretended he was in a work meeting when she was losing their child and had a fake 'executive assistant' inform her via text message.

Appearing on Good Morning America on Monday, Reesa admitted to host Robin Roberts that 'the miscarriage almost pushed me to hold on to him even more' - before revealing she has been left 'terrified' about her future following her romance with the man, whom she says was untruthful about almost every aspect of his life.

Reesa previously claimed on TikTok that Legion told her he was the vice president of a condiment company - but she later found out that he was actually unemployed for much of their romance, and had spent months pretending to go to work each day.

The couple met one another via Facebook dating, and also matched on a popular dating app where Legion was using a different name - which in hindsight, Reesa thinks should have set off the alarm bells.

'There are a lot of things in this story that were red flags, and this was probably one of them,' she told Robin. 'We thought it was hilarious that we met on two different sites.

'This was a guy who I really - after having multiple conversations with - felt like, "wow, where have you been?"' she continued before confirming that he came to live with her on a 'temporary' basis at her home in Georgia during the Covid lockdown.

Reesa revealed that as soon as he moved in, Legion took over the monthly utilities but told Robin: 'I definitely was not with him for the money, but I will admit there came a point he was paying all the bills and he was being, as he called, a provider.

'And I had never in my life experienced that before. I really felt like, "oh, thank you, Jesus", like I can just exhale, that felt good.'

At first, Reesa had no reason to believe that Legion wasn't working and didn't have any money as he was taking her to view properties with the supposed intention of buying one.

'We were touring houses, I physically saw him put an offer in on a house,' she alleged. 'It is unfathomable to see someone put an offer in, and they have no money. So, my mind was saying, "okay, something isn't right, but you know what you saw".'

She claimed that Legion also promised a dream vacation to the UK, that never happened.

Reesa admitted that she ignored the red flags in her relationship because she felt like she was 'running out of time' to get married

'The trip to London, he never actually booked it. Anyone that knows me will tell you, "she's been wanting to go to London since she was a little kid", so that one... that was difficult because you're playing with me.'

Reesa admitted that she chose to sidestep the red flags and marry Legion because she 'felt like time was running out' before adding: 'I ignored things because I really wanted it to be my turn.'

Referring to the devastating loss of their child, she said: 'That is where I say the relationship should have ended. Instead, the miscarriage almost pushed me to hold on to him even more.'

As if speaking to Legion, Reesa continued: 'The part that I still struggle with is, you pretended to be your own executive assistant when I was texting you to say I'm in pre-op.

'But there was never an executive assistant. You were never in a meeting. You just simply did not take me to the hospital when I lost our child.

'The question became, "okay what is actually true? What can you prove?" Every "I love you" was a lie, every "I got you" was a lie. That does something to you mentally,' before she admitted that she does miss her old self.

'She got excited. I don't really get excited anymore. I'm terrified to get excited because I went through a whole year and some change of getting excited only for it to be stripped away,' Reesa said.

'I do still believe in love. I do still believe in marriage. I do still want that. Being single is not always a great thing, but being married to the wrong person is a completely different type of hell.'

Soon after Reesa's story went viral, many people on the web claimed that they had uncovered Legion's real identity, identifying him as a man named Jerome JC Rome McCoy (seen)

She said Legion would act like he was rich and went through extreme measures to make her believe his lies - only to come up with bizarre excuses when it came time to make purchases

Reesa explained that she did feel nervous about sharing her story on TikTok, but 'ultimately I decided, if you're going to tell the story, tell the whole story'.

'I also really truly believe the story will help somebody. It costs you nothing to verify, but it very well may cost you everything to not verify,' she warned others, before opening up about why she thinks her story resonated with so many people.

'I do think being accountable, people appreciate that. I have nothing wrong with asking for grace if I'm going to be honest and say, "this is where I messed up."

'I know I messed up. I'll be honest, I kind of had to repent. I had to really ask God to forgive me because I believed that God did everything to stop me and my heart was still like, "that's not a red flag, that's more pink".

Confirming that having therapy has helped her a lot, Reesa added: 'It is still very much a journey of healing, self reflection and simply loving myself way more than to put myself through that or anything like that ever again.'

Last week, the man behind Reesa's video series unmasked himself and responded to his ex-wife's claims that he's a 'pathological liar and narcissist' by accusing her of cheating on him.

He branded her as the 'liar,' and insisted that they went their separate ways because he 'caught' her getting intimate with another man, named Bradley.

Soon after Reesa's story about Legion went viral, many people on the web claimed that they had uncovered his real identity; they said Legion was a man named Jerome JC Rome McCoy, and screenshots of his Facebook profile quickly took over the video streaming site.

Then, Jerome uploaded a clip to his Facebook allegedly confirming that he was indeed the man in Reesa's story - and he had a very different tale to tell, and claimed that everything Reesa had said was 'completely false'.
