Rita Moreno branded former President Donald Trump 'stupid' and 'appalling' during a very animated appearance on The View on Monday - as she confirmed she will not be voting for him in the upcoming election.
Rita, 92, had Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the panel laughing out loud when she joined them at the table and shared a joke about Trump, 77, and praised President Joe Biden for everything he has 'accomplished'.
When Ana Navarro asked Rita what she makes of people criticizing 81-year-old Biden for being an old President, she replied: 'Actually, I'm not surprised given the tenor of what's going on in this country right now.
'But let me say this - and it's very succinct and to the point - I am not about to vote for someone who has 91 indictments against him, for criminal activities. I mean, enough said already. It's so stupid, look at all the stuff that Biden has accomplished.'

Referring to Trump, the West Side Story actress seethed: 'It's appalling, it's appalling!' before making a hilarious dig at the divisive businessman.
'Listen, I have a wonderful little joke I would like to share with everybody,' Rita began. 'I saw a sign at a deli on the wall and it said, "Trump sandwich", and it goes on to describe it [as] "two slices of white bread, baloney, and a very small pickle".'
The live studio erupted into laughter and applause as Sara Haines said: 'This is so good,' Alyssa Farah Griffin branded Rita 'an absolute legend', and Sunny Hostin commented 'chef's kiss' whilst giggling.
'It's such an erudite description,' Rita said with a huge grin on her face, as Ana, 52, joked: 'And it probably sells for $399!' which led to her co-hosts bursting out laughing again.
In recent years, Rita has earned a reputation for being incredibly outspoken about her political views - and in 2022, she hit out at critics who insist Hollywood stars should not weigh into politics.
'Some in our tribe have been known to use the spotlight to advocate for issues addressed in their nominated works – climate change, universal health care, voting rights, LGBTQ advocacy and others – and I know for some in the audience, in some audiences, have been known to create, how should I say, a mild discomfort. For others, heart palpitations,' she said in a March 2022 speech.
'After all, who are these actors, these Hollywood types think they are? Citizens in a democracy? Well, F**k ’em!'
'“Freedom of Speech belongs to all of us, actors.'
Elsewhere in her interview on The View, Ana asked Rita what lessons she is taking into her 92nd year, to which she replied: 'You know, there's too many of them! I'll tell you what, what I bring with me is a lot of joy and I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh.
'It's not like I've learned... I've learned enough already, and I don't want to discuss what I've learned because it's boring. What I know how to do is this, to spread joy,' she added.

However, for her latest movie The Prank, Rita was forced to channer her inner 'mean lady' and took inspiration from some 'really awful' people from her past in order to take on the role.
'Isn't she the meanest bitch ever?' she said of her character Mrs Wheeler, who is a mean-spirited professor falsely accused of murder: 'I just thought, "how am I going to play this terrible, terrible, mean person?"
'I thought of all the women in my life, particularly in showbusiness, who had really been awful to me, all of these b****es! I thought, I'm going to use all of the things that they did with me in my little Puerto Rican past, and that's what I do and boy, was that fun!'
Whoopi, 68, clearly understood what Rita was referring to and nodded her head before saying: 'Oh yeah, the list is way long.'
She then praised the Golden Age of Hollywood star and said: 'But the greatest thing, probably one of the greatest things about Rita Moreno, is that whatever they did to her, she did not do to others.
'She was like this to others. I was an other and this is what she did to me. So I learned from the best,' the Sister Act star gushed.
