Democratic voters unhappy with President Joe Biden's handling of the war in Gaza continued to register their opposition by voting 'uncommitted' in Democrat presidential primaries on Super Tuesday.
The biggest margins came through in Minnesota, where nearly 20 percent of Democratic voters in the state voted uncommitted, with 87 percent of the total votes counted.
The threshold for delegates in the primary is 15 percent, so if the totals hold, 'uncommitted' could actually win a delegate to send to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this summer.

'Tonight's numbers showed that President Biden cannot earn back our votes with just rhetoric,' the Vote Uncommitted MN spokesperson Asthma Nizami said in a statement. 'Over 35,000 Minnesotans made it clear that Democrats want Joe Biden to change his policies: stop sending weapons to Israel and use all possible leverage to end Israel's war crimes in Gaza.'
The Minnesota campaign only spent $20,000 over one week to urge Democrats to register their protest in the primary.
The 'uncommitted' campaign gained momentum after Democratic primary voters in Michigan rallied to send a message to the administration. More than 100,000 voters in the state chose 'uncommitted' rather than President Biden.

Voters Torian and Clarissa in Aurora, Colorado, told the Daily Mail that they wanted to demonstrate their frustration with the Biden administration's handling of the war in Gaza.
'We just don't support genocide at all. It's totally against what we believe,' Clarissa said. 'Our hope is that they get the message, and that Democrats understand that's what they need to focus on.'
They acknowledged that both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had adjusted their rhetoric on the issue, but said they remained skeptical until they saw a real shift in action.
'It's just kind of hard to believe he's actually doing it for the right reasons versus doing it to get elected,' they said.
They said they first learned of the movement on the social media platform TikTok.
In Washington, activists also rallied to spread the protest message ahead of the presidential primary on Tuesday.
The United Food and Commercial Workers, with a membership exceeding 50,000, endorsed the movement in the state.
In North Carolina, with 95 percent of the votes reporting, nearly 13 percent voted 'no preference,' which tallied nearly 88,000 votes.
