Multiple members of a gang of thieves, believed to be running a multi-state robbery scheme up and down the East Coast targeting ritzy stores, have been arrested.

According to Pix11, 'several people' were arrested out-of-state in connection with the brazen daylight robbery of a Gucci store in Manhattan on February 19 - where thieves made off with over $50,000 worth of luxury goods.

This was just one of the gang's many hits, according to the report. The new arrests were made on the understanding that the suspects were part of an robbery team, operating along the coast and targeting expensive, high-end shops.

Keirina Boykin, of Washington, D.C, was identified by ABC7 as one of the robbery suspects arrested on Wednesday. She was already being held behind bars for assaulting a pregnant woman in Hyattsville, Maryland on February 22.

Boykin, 24, can be seen in the shocking CCTV clip from the Gucci store during the ransacking. She is being held without bond for the multiple charges she's facing.

The identities of the other suspects have not yet been released, nor have the locations of the stores they have previously hit.

NYPD confirmed to DailyMail.com that an individual was in custody out of state in relation to the robbery.

The suspects made headlines last month when dramatic footage of their Gucci heist emerged, showing the crime unfolding in a matter of minutes at the store in the city's ritzy Meatpacking District.

Video shows one of the three thieves walk in and point a gun towards a security guard before ransacking the shelves.

The group helped themselves to the designer suitcases and bags, before stuffing them into a stack. One of the thieves is so over encumbered he trips and falls whilst trying to make his exit.

Moments later, surveillance footage from outside the store shows the group running out into the street with the bulging sack in hand.

Police said the suspects are two men and a woman who were seen getting into a black Honda CRV immediately after the raid.

The vehicle was last seen heading through the Lincoln Tunnel to New Jersey.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, but the store remained closed for the remainder of the day.

It comes just months after a man was left in critical condition after being shot in the face during a late-night robbery of a seafood restaurant in Washington Heights.

A day later, a celebrity jeweler was robbed of an estimated $1million worth of jewelry after being held up at gunpoint in his Manhattan store.

Benny Nisanov was held up at gun point at his West 47th Street store in the city's Diamond District.

Year-end crime statistics reveal the incidents are part of a wave of violence sweeping the Big Apple.

The number of robberies increase by more than a fifth in December, although were down for the full year.

Meanwhile, the number of felony assaults spiked to 27,849 for the year, an annual increase of 6.3 percent.
