The driver of a Tesla Cybertruck that crashed into the Beverly Hills Hotel early in the early hours of Monday morning has been confirmed as 23-year-old rapper 2Rare.
Drama unfolded earlier this week after a driver rammed into the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel sign and asked Elon Musk for a new one after blaming the hotel's valet service.
The valet service clapped back and said none of their employee's were driving the doomed electric pickup truck.
After tense back-and-forth online, it has now been revealed that the driver responsible for smashing into the historic LA hotspot is Naseem Rafeeq Young, better known by his rap name 2Rare.
Young, 23, admitted his mistake in a post on his Instagram account, which he captioned: 'Iknoo i F#^ked that money upp yall iknoo.'

The post featured a video of the Tesla cybertruck lodged into the entrance sign of the luxury hotel as police vehicles surrounded the chaotic crash site.
2Rare had posed for a photoshoot with his brand new stainless steel truck shortly before slammed it into the hotel, leaving it with significant damage.
He captioned a series of pictures posing with the futuristic vehicle 'Ina CYBER truckk… its nomoree keepin uppppp.'
The young rapper became famous in 2019 when he released 'Big Bag', a single which landed him a joint venture recording contract with 10K Projects, Internet Money Records and Homemade Projects.
In June 2022, he appeared in the music video for Canadian rapper Drake's song 'Sticky,' and had a dance battle with Drake himself.
Despite hailing from Philadelphia, Young moved to Los Angeles years ago - where the crash took place.
The incident took place at 2am early on Monday morning, and even prompted a response from the Cybertruck creator and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Musk said: 'Tesla supertruck with crazy torque, dynamic air suspension, and corners like it's on rails.'

Musk, responded to the post and weighed in on the crash, saying 'Tesla supertruck with crazy torque, dynamic air suspension, and corners like it's on rails'
Despite the truck being known for durability, with stainless steeling paneling and borosilicate glass, the car appeared to be torn up by the crash.
Tesla's CEO first publicly announced the idea for his pickup truck in 2012, describing the vehicle as a 'Tesla supertruck with crazy torque, dynamic air suspension, and corners like it's on rails.'
However, there have been multiple flaws found in the Cybertruck - most recently including the truck's 'aero covers'.
The futuristic EV's aerodynamic wheel covers are causing wear on the tires, which could lead to surprise punctures and 'blow outs,' endangering lives on the road.
Even a brand new Cybertruck after 'a couple thousand miles' appears to show tire damage from these poorly designed hubcaps, according to the CEO of a third-party Tesla parts manufacturer who discovered the issue.
Drivers have also found that their almost $80,000 Tesla trucks are rusting after as little as two days in the rain.
