A 28-year-old Florida mother has been arrested after she allegedly intervened in a fight between two students and attacked one of them at a bus stop.
Taityana D. Duffy, a guardian of one of the students at the bus stop reportedly 'instigated, jeered and intervened' in a fight between two students and 'battered a juvenile during the incident', according to officials.
The Haines City Police Department has charged Duffy with battery and contributing to the delinquency of a dependent and the unnamed juvenile was also charged with battery.
Footage from the scene shows one juvenile shoving another as multiple people walk toward them at the bus stop, including adults.

A female juvenile is then seen repeatedly punching another female’s head as a woman involved in the middle is being pulled away.
The woman soon breaks free and begins to throw punches at a student lying on the ground.
Initial investigation indicates that a verbal confrontation had broken out between the pupils and it quickly escalated to physical violence, with one juvenile repeatedly striking another.
At this point, Duffy allegedly jumped in and began hitting a juvenile.

Chief of Police Greg Goreck said in a statement after her arrest: 'The involvement of an adult in encouraging and participating in a teenage fight at a bus stop is unacceptable and deeply concerning.
'This behavior not only escalates violence but also fails our community's expectation of an adults’ responsibility to help safeguard our children.
'Our department is taking this matter seriously and will act to prevent such incidents in the future.'
A court date for Duffy or the juvenile has not yet been set.
