While the NFL Draft Combine allows teams to scout players for their skills, Hall of Famer and network analyst Cris Carter highlighted Sam Hartman for his looks.
Carter referred to the quarterback out of Notre Dame as a 'male model' and the 'best-looking guy' at the combine. The former wide receiver also pointed to Hartman's hair and beard setting him apart.
The NFL captured Carter as he hilariously praised Hartman for everything but his ability on the field. The league then shared the clip on its Instagram page on Wednesday.
'He's definitely the best-looking guy at the damn combine,' Carter said of Hartman. 'I sent my wife a picture of him. She's like, 'I thought you were working?'
'A male model, look at that dude, man. Look at him. He's got the hair flowing and the beard.'

Hartman joins the draft after leading the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a 10-3 record last season
A user claimed that Hartman looks like a combination of Jason Mamoa and Ryan Reynolds
Another commented that Hartman should be the first overall pick because of his looks
'Look, look, look,' Carter enthusiastically said while pointing to the video board, playing Hartman's 40-yard dash. 'That's not a commercial?'
Carter was not alone in his praise, as fans in the comment section called Hartman 'gorgeous' and labeled him a 'perfect specimen.'
'Why does he look like Jason Mamoa and Ryan Reynolds had a baby,' one user wrote.
Another user insisted that Hartman 'should be the first overall pick based solely off of this.'
After two seasons at Wake Forest, Hartman spent a year playing at Notre Dame before declaring for the draft. The Charlotte native threw for 2,689 yards and 24 touchdowns this past year to lead the Fighting Irish to a 10-3 record.
Furthermore, he is tied for the third-most touchdown passes in college football history with 134.
Hartman recorded a 4.80-second 40-yard dash, 28.5-inch vertical jump, 7.19 3-cone, 9 feet and an inch in his broad jump, and 4.34 seconds in his 20-yard shuttle.
Hartman is projected to be a late-round pick in a class filled with quarterback talent.
