Stormy Daniels claims she hated the attention she received after exposing her affair with Donald Trump in a trailer of her new documentary - which also shows her mocking her former lawyer Michael Avenatti.

The Peacock documentary, titled Stormy, shows the former porn star navigating her life after the world learned of her alleged affair with the now-Republican presidential candidate.

In the trailer, released Thursday, the 44-year-old describes herself as a mom, adult film star, and 'idiot who can't keep her mouth shut.' She adds that she's a registered Republican, but jokes that she 'goes both ways.'

Stormy claims she was 'terrified' about the media frenzy she faced after a story broke in 2018 that Michael Cohen allegedly paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about her affair with Trump.

'Every time I stood up I got kicked down even harder, and I hit rock bottom,' she said in tears. 'You've never seen my name that didn't say porn star in front of it. Because we're not considered human.'

Stormy also speaks of her relationship with Avenatti, saying the crooked lawyer, who's now in jail, betrayed her and suggesting he forged her signature.

Avenatti is serving 14 years in prison after being convicted of dodging taxes and stealing millions of dollars from clients.

After news broke of the alleged affair and hush payment in 2018, Stormy filed a lawsuit against Trump in March of that year and claimed the non-disclosure agreement she signed was invalid.

A tweet Trump wrote regarding her accusations then led her to file a defamation lawsuit just one month later.

She lost her defamation suit and was ordered to pay nearly $300,000 to Trump in legal fees.

The adult film star went on to lose an appeal, and will now face Trump again in the 'hush money' criminal trial on March 18.

The charges - the first criminal charges against the former president - relate to reimbursements made through an LLC to his former attorney and 'fixer' Michael Cohen.

Trump has said the payments were legitimate expenses, and not illegally disguised.

Stormy has said she plans to testify in court during the trial.

Stormy has said she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006, at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe.

She said he invited her to dinner and they dined at his hotel suite, where he showed her a copy of a golf magazine with his picture on the cover.

'And I was like, 'Someone should take that magazine and spank you with it,'' Daniels told the CBS program 60 Minutes in 2018.

'So he turned around and pulled his pants down a little - you know had underwear on and stuff - and I just gave him a couple swats,' Daniels said.

She said she excused herself at one point to use the bathroom and when she returned Trump was 'perched' on the edge of the bed.

'I realized exactly what I'd gotten myself into. And I was like, 'Ugh, here we go,' said Stormy.

'And I just felt like maybe ... I had it coming for making a bad decision for going to someone's room alone.' She said the two had consensual sex.

Stormy said Trump made telephone calls to her over the following year and she met him again at his request in July 2007 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles to discuss her possible appearance on Celebrity Apprentice.

She said he wanted to have sex again at the hotel but she declined, and that Trump called her a month later to tell her he had not been able to get her booked on the show.

On October 28, 2016, in the waning days before the presidential election that Trump won, Daniels signed a non-disclosure agreement in which she pledged not to publicly discuss her relationship with him in exchange for a $130,000 payment, according to documents filed in Los Angeles federal court.

The pact was signed by Keith Davidson, her lawyer at the time, and Michael Cohen, then Trump's personal lawyer and fixer.
