A Texas chemistry teacher has resigned from his job after images of him wearing a bright pink dress at school came under the spotlight.
Rachmad Tjachyadi sparked outcry from anti-LGBT groups when he was seen in a flowing pink dress during Hebron High School's spirit day in February.
The popular Texas high school teacher was then suspended after the video went viral online.
Students at the school admitted they encouraged 'Mr T.' to dress up for February's spirit day.
'We laughed at the beginning of class and that was it,' student Anthony Pagan told NBC. However, not everyone found it funny when the video went viral online.

The 'popular' Texas high school teacher was suspended in February after video emerged of him talking to his students in the flowing dress
'We laughed at the beginning of class and that was it,' student Anthony Pagan (pictured) said. However, not everyone found it funny when the video went viral online.
The footage became a talking point after it was posted by the Twitter account Libs of TikTok with the caption 'this is a grown a*s man'.
'UNREAL. This is an actual teacher in 'LEwisvilleSD,' a user wrote online in a response to the footage showing the educator strolling about in a pink taffeta dress and matching pink hat and boots.
Other photos of Mr T. show him wearing the outfit in the classroom and writing on a whiteboard while dressed in a multi-colored tutu.
The post even gained the attention of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who said 'No parent should be forced by the state to send their child to this school.
Tjachyadi's student Anthony said so many people were talking about his teacher online and 'saying so many bad things' despite the fact that they 'didn't even know him,' adding that his teacher is 'harmless'.
Another student said the situation is 'so unfair' because 'he does such a great job of teaching.'
'He's never brought his sexuality or any of his political ideas into his teaching. He's always teaching chemistry. It's always chemistry,' said JuIi Ango, a student.
Tjachyadi announced his decision to resign in a letter. 'I want to inform you I have made the decision not to return to Hebron High School.
'After much thought and consideration, I believe this decision is best for everyone. It has been very difficult to see the hateful comments on social media about me and about Hebron High School, and that has greatly influenced my decision to remove myself from the narrative,' Tjachyadi wrote.
'The bright spot has been the support I have felt from Hebron students and staff, former students and staff, the Hebron community and LISD.'
He added that he was 'grateful' that the district determined he 'did not violate any policies' with his clothing choice on dress up day.
In a letter to parents sent in February, principal Amy Broughton admitted it 'would be natural for our families to have questions about this situation', before insisting that because it is 'under review, there is no additional information the district can share'.
He was also filmed taking a lesson in a multi-colored tutu and leggings
The veteran teacher was more orthodoxly dressed to receive an award with colleagues
'The whole world is a stage for their theatrics!' wrote one furious critic on Twitter
The Dallas Asian American Historical Society said it stood 'in full solidarity with Rachmad and against the district's discriminatory actions'
'I'm told he also sometimes shows up to teach dressed in full drag... How is this acceptable?!' the account added.
The post prompted thousands of replies with many demanding the teacher be sacked.
Tjachyadi has worked as a teacher in schools around the Dallas area since 2002 after gaining an MS in chemical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
He was employed by the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District for eight years from 2015 according to his LinkedIn profile, and appears to have moved to the Lewisville district in recent months.
Other photos show Tjachyadi wearing a dress seemingly modelled on that of the villain Ursula from Disney's Little Mermaid, and sprawling on the floor in high heels and a knee-length glittery red dress gripping a clutch bag at one of the school's prom nights.

The Fowardslash project, which describes itself as 'an archive that excavates and interrogates deviant queer subjects', described his teaching objectives as 'not only to educate the students in science but also to be an out LGBTQ+ role model in a professional setting'.
'The choir director at his school asked him to dress up as one of the Supremes (along with three other female teachers) for an open mic night, and the rest is history,' it explained.
'Rachmad would utilize dress-up days at his schools to show off his feminine side in the education settings.
'He is in no way a pedophile or publicizing a 'fetish'.
'In fact, many students in his class encouraged him to wear the dress in the first place.
'He has pushed many students to become better and shows genuine care for his students.
'The recent decision to place him on probation has left our community frustrated and disappointed.
'It would be a great loss for Hebron High School to lose a teacher like Mr Tjachyadi. Free my boy Mr.T.'
