The View co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin say Biden shouldn't 'lower himself' to debate Trump as he declares he's ready to debate the president.
On Thursday's episode of The View, Joy Behar angrily questioned 'why does Joe Biden have to lower himself to even be on the same stage with this criminal?'
The discussion was set-off after co-host Whoopi Goldberg, 68, questioned why Biden suddenly needed to prove himself to Trump - who declared on Wednesday that he was ready to debate the president 'anytime, anywhere, anyplace.'
Behar, 81, went on to call Trump a '91-times-indicted sexual harasser' and an 'accused sexual assaulter'.
Sunny Hostin, 55, chimed in, saying that Biden doesn't have to go head to head with the former president because 'debates are not mandatory.'

Trump declared on Wednesday that he was ready to debate the president 'anytime, anywhere, anyplace'
Sunny Hostin, 55, said that Biden doesn't have to go head to head with the former president because 'debates are not mandatory'
The 55-year-old lawyer and host went on to agree with Behar's original point, that the current president shouldn't stoop to Trump's level by entertaining a debate.
'Donald Trump better be careful,' Hostin warned.
'Becase in 2020, when they had their little debate, Biden swept the floor with him,' she declared - with Behar adding 'that's right.'
Hostin backed up her claim by presenting the fact that exit polls from 2020 showed that Biden won those debates 'overwhelmingly'.
Post-debate exit polls for Trump and Biden's first head-to-head revealed that 6 in 10 voters though that Biden won, while only 28 per cent considered Trump the champion.
'He's even worse now - he can't put a sentence together,' Behar responded.
The 55-year-old lawyer and host went on to agree with Behar's original point, that the current president shouldn't stoop to Trump's level by entertaining a debate.
'I agree with you,' she told Behar. 'Why legitimize a candidate like Donald Trump?'
Hostin went on to list all the reasons that Trump's legitimacy as a presidential candidate should not be taken seriously.
'He is twice impeached. He is a one-term president. He has 91 criminal counts pending against him,' ranted as Behar backed her saying 'that's right' and 'tell it'.
Hostin continued: 'He has been found civilly liable for assault. He's got no money. He's a terrible businessman.'
As Hostin stormed about Trump's many negative attributes, co-host Sara Haines tried to interject.
The co-hosts butted heads over the topic, with Sara Haines saying that Biden 'could lose' a debate while Trump could not because of his die-hard MAGA supporters
Behar, 81, called Trump a '91-times-indicted sexual harasser' and an 'accused sexual assaulter'
'Why do we legitimize this candidate? He is an illegitimate candidate,' Hostin ultimately concluded.
The co-hosts butted heads over the topic, with Sara Haines saying that Biden 'could lose' a debate while Trump could not because of his die-hard MAGA supporters.
'Biden can lose, he can lose in a debate. Trump will not. The people supporting Trump will support him whether he's there or not. Biden makes one mistake, and the people who are undecided are out,' said Haines, 46.
Trump's social media post that sparked the debate between co-hosts said 'It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People.'
'Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE! The Debates can be run by the Corrupt DNC, or their Subsidiary, the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD).'
Biden's campaign communications Michael Tyler fired back, telling Fox 'I know Donald Trump's thirsty for attention and struggling to expand his appeal beyond the MAGA base - and that's a conversation we'll have at the appropriate time in this cycle.'
On Thursday's episode, Behar left her co-hosts visibly stunned when she made a very dirty joke about former President Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels.
During the heated discussion about whether or not President Joe Biden should go head-to-head in a live debate, the redhead comedian then blurted out: 'Biden should just challenge him to push-ups.'
In a rather shocking live on air moment, she continued: 'The last time Trump did a push-up, he was on top of Stormy Daniels!'
The View host Joy Behar left her co-hosts visibly stunned during Thursday's show when she made a very dirty joke live on air
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who used to work for former President Trump, laughed nervously at Joy's racy comment
Sunny Hostin clearly found Joy's joke very funny and was seen taking a sip of tea with a grin on her face
Behar was referring to the blonde's claims that she had sex with the businessman back in 2006.
The live studio audience erupted into applause as Alyssa Farah Griffin laughed nervously.
Sunny Hostin took a sip of tea with a grin on her face, while Joy stood up and took a curtsy before adding: 'But on the other hand, why does Joe Biden have to lower himself to even be on the same stage with this criminal?'
