A Tennessee groom was on his way to his honeymoon with his bride when a semi truck hit their car after multiple roll-overs, killing him and injuring his wife.
Daniel Palacios III, 27, and his wife, Christy Carrillo, 23, were in the car on their way to their honeymoon the day after their wedding when their car veered off I-40, hit a dirt embankment and rolled over multiple times before crossing into oncoming traffic and hitting a semi truck.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Carillo was wearing a seatbelt while Palacios was not.
Palacios's father, Daniel Palacios Jr., confirmed with DailyMail.com that his son died the day after their wedding ceremony.
Palacios Jr. told the DailyMail.com that Carrillo 'is banged up and emotionally distraught' but that 'she will be OK' as she is out of the hospital.

Their car hit a dirt embankment, and rolled multiple times before crossing into oncoming traffic and hitting a semi truck.
'I lost a son but gained a daughter,' said Palacios Jr.
'We will all be OK.'
He wrote a touching tribute to his son on Facebook and thanked those who sent their condolences, confirming that the funeral would be held on March 16 at 2 pm with an option to zoom in.
Dennis Vann, a passerby of the wreckage on I-40, shared a video of the crash's aftermath with local CBS affiliate WREG.

The resulting car crash was described by an onlooker as one of the worst wrecks he had ever seen
Van said it was the worst car accident he had ever seen.
'When I got closer to the wreck, looks like back tire might've blown out and hit the median and flipped about twenty times,' said Vann.
Palacios III was an independent contracted truck driver.
