49ers quarterback Brock Purdy ties the knot with his college sweetheart Jenna Brandt in Iowa - one month after his Super Bowl LVIII heartbreak at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has officially tied the knot with longtime college sweetheart Jenna Brandt in a ceremony in Iowa on Saturday.

The pair met when they were both students at Iowa State University - where Brock played football and Jenna was a star on the volleyball team.

They had only been engaged about eight months - revealing the news on Instagram when they shared images from a dock in Florida of Brock going down on one knee.

Both halves of the couple posted those photos - with Purdy's caption reading, 'My Jenna girl forever. I can't wait to be your husband.

'Here's to forever babe. I love you JB!'

The couple met while they both were playing sports in college at Iowa State University

Since then, Brock has gone on to become the Niners starter and led them to the Super Bowl

Jenna's post read, 'Brock Purdy - I love everything about you ... more than any words can say.'

The new Mrs. Purdy has been by Brock's side ever since he was selected by the 49ers with the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft.

In his rookie season, multiple injuries to Niners quarterbacks meant that Purdy took over for the rest of the campaign.

He led them to an NFC Championship game before getting injured himself, but played through the pain.

2023 saw the Niners as the best team in the NFL - making a run all the way to Super Bowl LVIII.

Unfortunately for San Francisco fans, they could not get a championship as they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime.
