Hollywood's finest descended upon the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for the 96th edition of the Academy Awards on Sunday evening, and the biggest night in film was certainly eventful.
It was filled with dazzling performances, controversial comments, a shocking pregnancy announcement, a naked appearance on stage, an awkward wardrobe malfunction - and an argument between host Jimmy Kimmel and former President Donald Trump.
It began with a cringy monologue from the host that saw him make a very crude joke about Robert Downey Jr.'s manhood - which did not go over well with the actor.

It definitely had its fair share of viral and shocking moments - the dog who appeared in Anatomy of a Fall became an internet sensation after he was spotted sitting adorably in the audience, and John Cena came on stage in the nude, using the envelope with the winner in it to cover his private parts.
When it came to the awards, one movie won big - Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer - which took home a whopping seven different accolades, including Best Picture and Best Actor.
The excitement began long before the show even kicked off, as the red carpet had its own fair share of dramatic encounters, including a slew of bizarre and revealing outfits, adorable PDA from some of Hollywood's most coveted couples, and an exciting announcement from Vanessa Hudgens (spoiler, she's expecting her first baby).
