The finish was beset by mayhem after Al Pacino announced Oppenheimer as the Best Picture winner without bothering to name all the other nominees while Emma Stone had an embarrassing wardrobe.

Emma thanked her fellow nominees in addition to the five former Best Actress winners Sally Field, Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron, Jessica Lange, and Jennifer Lawrence.
The A-lister said: ' The women on the stage, you are all incredible, and the women in this category -- um -- Sandra, Annette, Carey, Lily, I share this with you. I'm in awe of you. It's been such an honor to do all of this together, I hope we get to keep doing more together.
'I don't know what I'm saying, oh, my god, I'm totally -- okay.'
She went on to talk about a conversation she had with Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos leading up to the event.
Regardless of the chaotic incidents toward the end of the show it was Oppenheimer which exploded to seven wins including top honor Best Picture.
