A bride-to-be has divided opinion after she made a list of 'rules' for her partner's stag do.

Isabella Blount, 24, from Leicestershire, is getting married in Las Vegas in 2026 - but has already made a list of requirements before her fiancé Max parties the night away on his stag do.

Izzy, who works in marketing, and Max got engaged on holiday in DisneyWorld in September last year.

Taking to her TikTok account @isabellab212, Izzy listed seven rules she wants her partner to follow on his stag do, including 'no strippers' and a ban on going to certain locations, such as Amsterdam.

She also wants Max to 'video/photo everything' and to bring her back a present, explaining: 'I'm not saying it will make up for anything, but I like gifts'.

She also wanted regular communication to make sure he was safe and added that he shouldn't be hanging out with members of the opposite sex, saying: 'Girls are a no'.

Her video has now gone viral, racking up 1.8 million views - but people have been left divided over whether her rules are too 'controlling', or if she's just asking for basic respect from her partner.

Some people backed up her requests, with one saying: 'Honestly, you're so real for this', while another noted: 'Stag/hens should be seen as a celebration that you're getting married, not a last "free" night out'.

But others were more dubious, as one commenter shared their own experience, writing: 'My fiancé's stag do this weekend and no rule. Just want him go enjoy his weekend because I trust him.'

One person took issue with Izzy's request for a gift, asking: 'Bring back a present from a stag do, like what exactly? A hangover and the smell of regret?'

Another social media user said: 'If a bloke did this, it's controlling and oppressive,' while someone else said: 'If you don't trust someone this much is marriage really the best option?'

Izzy now insists her requirements were a 'joke' and posted her updated rules, which still included no strippers, some communication and being brought back a present.

She told wedding planning website Hitched: 'These 'rules' as I called them on TikTok are things we have discussed when planning our stag and hen dos.

'Not all of these are my actual views, and the word 'rules' was meant to be a joke (he's not a child!) I would say they're more like the boundaries of things I'm uncomfortable with him doing.

'The actual thing I have said to my fiancé is 'no strippers', as for me, this is disrespectful and I think a LOT of women agreed in the comments [of the video].

'The other big thing is communication. Me and my fiancé live together and talk everyday, so it would be unnatural not to talk even if we are away from each other. And mainly because we just want to make sure each other is safe and having a good time!

'My fiancé knew about the TikTok before it was posted, as we both thought it was quite obviously a joke…. So we just laugh together at the comments now. The gift thing also was meant to be funny, but I wouldn't mind!'

Isabella says her fiancé 'completely agrees and respects these things' and says it is why they work so well together as a couple.

'The communication "rule" works both ways. He would want to know I'm safe also.

'The strippers one, he doesn't need to worry about because he knows the thought of it makes me uncomfortable. So you won't find me at Magic Mike!'

She added that she wasn't expecting the video to blow up in the way that it did: 'I normally make silly TikToks for my friends to see, so I was shocked!

'I do think that it has unveiled a huge topic of conversation, and girls have been saying they are arguing with their fiancés about the same things! One even said they broke up with their partner after discussing strippers!'
