Donald Trump is demanding a debate against President Joe Biden as he is on the cusp of clinching the Republican nomination for president.
In a post on Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump wrote, 'in order to inform the American people of what is going on in our Country, we must immediately have a full scale debate between Crooked Joe and Honest Don.'
The four-times criminally indicted ex-president continued 'I'm ready to go, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE!'
Trump was likely just hours away from officially wrapping up the GOP presidential nomination when he wrote the post.
Republican voters in Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi and Washington are heading to the polls on Tuesday where 161 delegates are up for grabs.

Trump has 1,078 delegates already, having swept nearly every single Republican nominating contest to date.
He has no challengers still in the race for the Republican presidential nomination and needs 1,215 delegates to become the party's presumptive nominee.
As Trump is expected to clinch the nomination, it would set up a rematch with Biden this November.
While Trump skipped every single debate in the Republican primary, he has long signaled he is gunning to debate with Biden.
In a December interview well before the Republican nominating contests even began, Trump said he was looking forward to debating Biden, suggesting to Hugh Hewitt 10 debates.
He has also said he is open to appearing in debates that are hosted by the Commission on Presidential Debates, despite calling the nonprofit which has sponsored debates in every presidential election since 1988 'terrible' and 'corrupt.'
The Republican National Committee went so far as to vote unanimously to withdraw from the commission's events in 2022 accusing it of bias and required candidates to sign a pledge vowing to only participate in debates sanctioned by the committee. Trump never signed that pledge.

Those debates are set to take place in September and October in Texas, Virginia and Utah.
The likely nominees have not yet formally committed to participating in those debates.
