Skip Bayless has claimed Russell Wilson and wife Ciara were 'humiliated' by the Denver Broncos last season and believes his move to the Pittsburgh Steelers is 'an all-time steal of a deal'.
The nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Steelers. He will receive the veteran's minimum of $1.21million while the Broncos pay the remainder of his $39m salary.
Wilson was heading into free agency after a nightmare spell in Denver, that will go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history.
The Broncos signed the veteran quarterback to a five-year, $242.6m deal after acquiring him in a blockbuster trade from Seattle in 2022.
However, after two unsuccessful seasons, the team opted to move on from Wilson while taking an $85m hit in dead money with the release. His exit from Denver promoted wife Ciara to call Wilson 'my greatest inspiration'.

Speaking on Undisputed, Bayless insisted Wilson's arrival in Pittsburgh represents a huge coup for Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
He said: 'This is an all-time steal of a deal. It only costs Pittsburgh $1.2m. The veteran minimum to get a quarterback, who's been to nine Pro Bowls and two Super Bowls.
'I'm gonna put in front of his age, 35. I'm gonna put an "only" 35 because in this age we live in, after what we saw Tom Brady do at 45... once upon a time, I would've said you're on the downside. He could still be in his prime at age 35.
'Russ went through a lot last year and I think he got humiliated by the benching. He is a star and he's married to a star and he's got star power.
'Because of that, I think he's gonna come into Pittsburgh with a little chip on his shoulder.'
Pittsburgh is scheduled to play the Broncos in Denver this upcoming season - and the game could feature a return by Wilson. The NFL is expected to release its league schedule in May.

Last week, the Broncos informed Wilson they'd release him but gave him permission to speak to other teams.
'We thank Russell for his contributions and dedications to our team and community while wishing him the best as he continues his career,' the team posted on its social media channels last week.
'We are excited to improve this offseason and will have the flexibility to get better through the draft and free agency.'
After signing a nearly quarter-billion dollar extension before playing a down in Denver, Wilson contended the Broncos had threatened to bench him for the final nine games last season if he didn't push back his $37m injury guarantee in his contract.
Wilson declined to adjust his deal and started seven more games before getting benched in what Payton insisted was a football move, not a financial one.
