Squad member and Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush blasted former President Donald Trump calling him 'white supremacist in chief' during a hearing into President Biden's mishandling of classified documents and slammed her Republican colleagues on the hill.

Bush's blistering remarks came as Special Counsel Robert Hur appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday to testify about his Biden investigation which was detailed in a report released last month.

'Republicans have used the special counsel's report to further their longstanding efforts to reelect, reelect the former white supremacist in chief Donald Trump,' Bush said.

She went on that Trump 'faces 40 criminal charges related to the mishandling of classified documents including obstruction of justice.'

Trump is being investigated by Special Counsel Jack Smith who brought charges against the former president last year after classified documents were found at Mar-a-Lago.

Hur was appointed to investigate Biden's handling of  classified documents found at Biden's home and office. His report declined to bring charges against Biden but described the president as an elderly old man with 'poor memory' raising questions.

In her scathing four-minute statement, Bush went down a list of how the Trump classified documents case was different from Biden's.

'He refused to turn over classified documents in his possession to the National Archives,' Bush said of Trump. 'He is on tape sharing documents he said he could have declassified when he was president.'

Bush went on that Trump 'wrongly claimed in an interview that the Presidential Records Act allows him to do whatever he wants and he was allowed to do everything he did. He also said on his right-wing social media platform, "I'm allowed to do all of this."'

Bush argued that unlike Trump, Biden complied with the investigation and turned over classified material while Trump continues to admit to having the classified documents on the campaign trail.

The progressive lawmaker condemned the hearing, stating it was 'not a good faith oversight effort' but the latest in a long line of 'destructive' and 'dysfunctional' actions taken by the Republican majority that doesn't 'care about responsible governance or making people's lives better.'

Bush said mishandling classified information is a 'serious issue' and that the appointment of special counsels in both the Biden and Trump cases was 'appropriate'  but slammed her GOP colleagues for how it was handled.

At the same time, she criticized Republicans' focus on Biden's 'mental acuity' after the report highlighted the 81-year-old commander-in-chief forgetting key dates during his interview back in October.

'They have zero credibility to talk about mental acuity when they support Donald Trump,' Bush said.

She pointed to examples where Trump, 77, appeared to mix up Biden and former President Obama as well as Nikki Haley and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She also highlighted how Trump has mispronounced words like Venezuela, respected and the United States.

'It is deeply hypocritical for anyone who champions this man for the presidency to talk about the mental acuity of anyone else,' Bush said visibly disgusted.

She called Trump one of the 'worst presidents of all time.'

Bush has been an open critic of President Biden. Most recently, she has been extremely vocal in her calls for a ceasefire in Gaza. She wore a keffiyeh to Biden's State of the Union address, held the sign 'lasting ceasefire now' and noticeably withheld applause.

Bush acknowledged in her remarks on Tuesday that she has disagreements with Biden on issues.

'My concerns are rooted in the desire to resolve policy matters and help him take better positions that save more lives,' Bush said.

She called for lawmakers to focus on policy and proving the lives of constituents.

'Our country deserves better than all of this,' Bush said gesturing to the classified documents hearing. She called the hearing a distraction and a 'irresponsible and easily repudiated Republican clown show.'
