Red Bull has launched its latest limited-edition flavour, just in time for the promise of warmer weather.

With hints of passion fruit and peaches, the newest in the Red Bull UK lineup uses hints of curuba from South America, commonly known as the 'banana passion fruit'.

Having launched on March 11, The Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower will be available in stores nationwide for £1.55 for 250ml.

The new combination is rounded off with the floral notes of fresh elderflower, resulting in a zesty explosion of exotic flavours.

According to research, Gen Z are impressed with the drink, even those not previously fans of the Red Bull brand.

The vibrant green canned drink is best served chilled and over ice or simply enjoyed straight from the can for a refreshing boost.

To beat the heat, Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower can also be crafted into a luxurious cocktail, at the ideal summer dinner party.

Experts recommend hosts can create expertly mixed concoctions combining the curuba elderflower flavours with Everleaf Forest and peach syrup.

Or if you're teetotal, try some non-alcoholic strawberry liqueur for a delightful evening tipple if you want to impress your sober guests.

The options are endless with Red Bull's latest limited-edition offering, whether you're hosting a BBQ this summer or a cocktail party

One woman, named Alexia,  25, said: 'I've never thought of myself as a Red Bull girl, but this might have turned me'.

Maeve, 22, added: 'It's giving beach bbq season', while George penned: 'Easily one of my favourites'.

Andre chimed in to describe the summery drink as a 'huge' love of his, while Lydia, 24, said: 'It's giving SUMMER'.

Sophie, 27, chimed in to say: 'Delicious even at 8am, sipped out a tiny teacup'.

However, a note of caution was sounded by experts last year who called for a drink driving-esque campaign to tell boozers that mixing alcohol with energy drinks can make them violent.

It follows a study into the consequences of consuming alcohol mixed with energy drinks — such as Jägerbombs.

Scientists in the US found people who enjoy those types of drinks are more likely to become 'physically and sexually' aggressive.

For example, they were up to six times more likely to get into a fight, and twice as likely to 'take advantage of another sexually'.
