Harrowing footage captured the moment two men erupted into a wild brawl on a New York City subway, moments before the agitator was shot in the head with his own gun.
The 36-year-old man who was shot, who has not been named, accused the other man of being a 'migrant beating up cops' in furious scenes while other passengers scrambled to get away.
He was then stabbed and shot in the head with his own handgun by the other man, 32, after it was wrestled away from him in the melee on a Brooklyn A train on Thursday evening.
'F**k your kind. F**k your race. F**k you,' the agitator, seen in the footage wearing a dark jacket and yellow hat, yelled at the suspected gunman, wearing a yellow shirt.
'You think you're gonna beat up cops? I'll beat you up,' the man said, seemingly referencing the January incident in which a group of migrants attacked NYPD officers in Times Square.
The NYPD told DailyMail.com on Friday morning the shooting victim remains in critical condition, while the gunman is in custody.

'Where's the NYPD, oh my God!' one woman exclaimed as others said, 'close the door, close the door!'
The wild scenes also included the suspected gunman's 32-year-old female companion, who appeared to whip out a knife from her pocket and stab the other man in the back multiple times.
While still fighting the man in yellow, he repeatedly yelled, 'you stabbed me? You stabbed me?'
'I didn't do nothing,' she responded, as blood visibly seeped through the man's shirt. The two then continued grappling, with the 36-year-old man ultimately sitting atop the 32-year-old.
The NYPD told DailyMail.com that as of Friday morning, the woman, who has not been identified, is being sought by cops.
Other passengers were begging the pair to stop as one person said, 'come on, there's babies on here.'
A man wearing a reflective vest managed to separate the two men, before the 36-year-old rushed the woman and yelled again, 'I'm bleeding. You stabbed me, right?'
'He thinks you are a migrant,' a woman(pictured wearing a black shirt and light blue jeans) who appears to accompany the 32-year-old man can be heard saying as tension escalated
The 36-year-old also landed a punch on the woman, who appeared to have stabbed him in the back multiple times as he shouted repeatedly, 'you stabbed me?'

The video did not capture the moment when the 32-year-old grabbed the firearm from the aggressive attacker, but at least four shots can be heard in the background.
However, the footage did offer a glimpse of the weapon as the shooting suspect threw down his jacket during the fight, revealing the weapon.
He then loaded it as he charged at the 32-year-old, at the same time that frantic passengers can be heard shouting, 'get me out, get me out' before the car doors opened.
