Removing stubborn stains from clothes, bedding and furnishings can be a strenuous and expensive task.
However, one cleaning expert has come up with a solution to save time, money and effort.
Hazel Mackenzie has shared a cleaning tip to help remove deep stains from duvets - and it will only set you back £1.50.
The cleaning expert, from Wee Scotty Cleaners, shared a video to the company's TikTok account, @theweescottycleaners, on March 10.
The footage, which has since amassed over 11,000 views and 18 comments from delighted fans, contains the caption: '2 in 1 duvet stains and cleans your washing machine.'

In the clip, a white duvet is shown sporting a large orange-brown stain across one side of it.
Bundling the duvet into an empty washing machine, Hazel said: 'We have been given a very dirty duvet and you can see there has been something spilled all over that.'
The cleaning expert then produces a bottle of Vanish, which she announces she will spray directly onto the stain on the duvet.
Applying a generous amount, Hazel recommended letting the liquid 'soak' into the stain - before unveiling the key product that not only accelerates the stain removal process, but doubles up as a tool to clean the washing machine itself too.
She continued: 'This stuff works amazing for looking after your machine and getting rid of stains as well.'
Hazel then pans the camera onto the key product: a 500g tub of Duzzit Amazing Baking Soda - which retails at The Range for just £1.49.
She then selects the 60 degree "heavy duty" option on her washing machine to help successfully rid the duvet of the stain.
After a two hour wash, Hazel returns to the washing machine and produces a sparkling white duvet free from any sign of staining.

She said: 'That stain is completely gone. And you know what we've used? A bit of Vanish spray directly on it and also baking soda.
'You can either put it [the baking soda] in your drawer, or you can put it directly in your drum.'
Hazel added: 'This is baking soda, and it is the exact same thing as bicarbonate of soda,' before holding up the duvet again to repeat, 'That is as white as white again.'
In response to further queries by fans in the comments, Hazel explained that she used half a cup of baking soda in her Cater-kwik washing machine.
It comes after the cleaning expert recently revealed a way to mimic the effect of a dry clean using a specific setting on her own Beko washing machine, which she recommended to viewers.
