Donald Trump sets social media ablaze after claiming he 'won two golf tournaments in two days over the weekend'... as former President opens up on 'great honor' to lift trophies at his own Florida course

Donald Trump took straight to social media in order to celebrate his two claimed championships at his own course in Palm Beach, Florida.

The former president and all-but-officially-confirmed Republican presidential nominee won not one, but two tournaments over the weekend.

The 77-year-old posted on both Truth Social and Instagram, writing: 'A great honor to have won both the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship this week at Trump International!'

Trump's wins over the weekend follow on from his success at the Super Senior Championship earlier in the year.

Not only did Trump put the information out on social media, but so did the official account for the course as well.

Some on social media almost immediately doubted the 77-year-old's golf game 

'Congratulations to @realdonaldtrump on winning the Club Championship at @trumpgolfpalmbeach, his third win this year alone following the Senior and Super Senior Championships. Absolutely incredible!' the caption read.

Comments under the post on Instagram have been more chiding than congratulatory, as many doubt the abilities of the former president. 

While Trump has been celebrating his wins, people have taken to the comments of these posts to express their distrust of the former president.

'He owns the course...He won before the tournament started,' one person wrote.

Another added: 'Trump is not running for president. He's running for dict@tor, and the courts aren't going to save us. We must beat him badly at the ballot box! BLUE TSUNAMI.'
