New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been hit with a lawsuit accusing him of a 1993 sexual assault in a cop car, allegations that he has previously denied

The former cop's accuser, Lorna Beach-Mathura, 67, alleged in a court filing on Monday that Adams, 63, offered to help her get a promotion in his capacity as head of the Guardians Association, an inter-police organization to help black employees.

According to the lawsuit, Adams drove Beach-Mathura to a vacant lot to speak about the promotion, before telling her that he also 'needed a favor' from her.

He then allegedly tried to force her into oral sex, but when she refused, he masturbated on her from inside the car, the lawsuit claimed.

Adams has 'vigorously' denied the allegations when they surfaced last year, and claims that he has never even met Beach-Mathura - who has a history of launching over a dozen lawsuits against her exes, employers and corporations.

In a statement on Monday, New York City Corporation Counsel Hon. Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix said: 'While we review the complaint, the mayor fully denies these outrageous allegations and the events described here; we expect full vindication in court.

'Additionally, in 1993, Eric Adams was one of the most prominent public opponents of the racism within the NYPD, which is why the suit's allegations that he had any sway over promotions of civilian employees is ludicrous.'

Beach-Mathura's new court filing alleges sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment and retaliation, which she says came after reporting the incident.

She also alleges gender discrimination, and alleges that her career in the police department was severely hampered by being a black woman.

After beginning her law enforcement career in 1981 in the NYPD Transit Bureau, she claims she was repeatedly passed over for promotions and was discriminated against.

After becoming frustrated after an NYPD official allegedly told her that she would have to transfer to ever be promoted, she went to Adams, then-33, in his capacity as Guardians head, for help.

In scathing wording in the lawsuit, it is claimed that Adams 'preyed on her perceived vulnerability, demanding a quid pro quo sexual favor and sexually assaulting Plaintiff, revealing himself not to be the 'Guardian' he purported to be, but a predator.'

She claims that Adams picked her up after work, while he was still purportedly on duty, and drove her to an empty parking lot.

Although she thought it was unnerving, his status as a high-ranking Guardians leader and police officer reassured her - until he 'requested oral sex from her', the lawsuit claimed.

'While repeatedly cajoling, demanding, and begging Plaintiff for oral sex, Defendant Adams unzipped his pants and pulled out his erect penis,' the filing continued.

When she refused, Adams then allegedly told her to 'give him a hand job', and Beach-Mathura said she was 'stunned' and 'sickened' by the alleged turn of events.

Her continual refusal then led Adams to masturbate in the car next to her, which she says she sat through out of fear as she felt that, as a cop, he had a gun on him, the lawsuit alleged.

'Defendant Adams gruffly informed Plaintiff that he had to get back to work. It was clear that he was angry at her for refusing his sexual demands,' the filing claimed.

Adams was initially hit with the allegations in November when she filed a summons against him, which he 'vigorously' denied and claimed he had never met Beach-Mathura.

'It did not happen. That's not who I am. That's not who I am in my professional life. It's just something that never took place,' he said at the time.

'As you know I have been in public life now almost 40 years. People know my character, they see how I am, how I carry myself.

'I can emphatically state, this never took place and I do not recall ever meeting the accuser. It is just not who I am. I would never do things that harm someone.

'Right now you just have to really stay focused...you just have to let go and let god.'

Adams' accuser has previously filed a slew of lawsuits against her exes, employers and major corporations, and has even written a book comparing herself to an Erin Brockovich-type figure where she boasts of her legal battles.

When she first filed against Adams in November, Beach-Mathura sought $5 million in damages over the alleged 1993 parking garage encounter.

The same plaintiff has launched more than a dozen civil suits over the past three decades, routinely alleging negligence or discrimination, often representing herself and even appealing one ruling all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

These include a 2008 case against American Airlines in which the accuser claimed she was sent sprawling from a wheelchair at an airport check-in desk during a Buddhist pilgrimage to Japan.

That same year, she also sued a Florida condo association for negligence but the case was tossed on day one of the trial when she left court during the lunchtime recess and never returned.

Her past also includes a stint as a teacher, which appears to have been marred by abuse and violence from unruly students, culminating in a boy allegedly 'body slamming' her to the floor in 2005.
